  1. Both laptop's have 8gb ram with a second slot and 512 gb ssd with another slot and ips fhd display.
  2. Need some information about my first budget laptop for casual use, movies and light gaming. I have around 550€ and i am between Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ALC6 r3 5300u and Hp 255 G8 r5 5500u. They are around the same price but isn't supposed the r5 5500u to be better? Happy to hear any and all recommendations. Thank you.
  3. Unfortunately no. It is 700w though so i am confident about the firepower. The cpuidn hwmonitor doesn't detect a second fan...
  4. the 1 8pin is 6+2 , can i have this like this and plug a 8pin with adapter on the gpu ?
  5. Hello, Just loaned a HD 7970 3G D5 Boost from a friend and i have the following problem. It has 2 8 pin aux connectors and i just plug 1 x8 and 1 x6, should this be a problem ? and the 1 of the 2 fans ist spinning, is this something about a heat thing or its just busted ?? thanks you for your help in advance!
  6. I am from Greece and yes you are right i shouldn't complaining. A 1060 has around 230 euros here and its Gigabyte..i am partially mad because of all this mining thing, has left us out of options and the prices has gone 50% up or so
  7. Damn it, and all the gpu's prices now have gone through the roof.
  8. I send my 1,5 year old xfx gpu r9 380 with warranty to xfx through the store i bought it because i thought it was causing my pc to freeze and after 3 month's they said it was problematic and they couldn't fix it so they send my money back instead of another gpu. Can they do that? P.s. my gpu wasn't the problem after all as i found out afterwards.
  9. I've send the GPU for service 3 months ago ( ) because i thought that was the problem, and i tried another gpu on my motherboar and i 've had the exact same freezing issue
  10. For months now i have random freezes, my screen is on bad nothing works and pc is running normally, hhd led stops blinking and no power comes to keyboard (numlock and gaps lock leds are off, sometimes when i connected a usb stick froze after a while, I tried memtest and 1 stick per time, 2 differents newly formatted hhds scan with hdd sentinel, 2 psus the main one a 700w thermaltake litepower le and a 350w vs corsair (its sh*t psus i know), cpu stress perfomance and a different gpu (hd 4xxx series), cleared cmos and tryied in windos 10 power options , i dismanlted the pc and mantled it again and after all that the pc still froze, the only think that worked is after i took the gpu off the pcie and i thought maybe the pcie is bad and causes somekind of short circuit or something like that when the gpu is on. I dont have any probles with overheating. Any of you thinks its possible ? any other recommendations of what to try ? my pc is 7 year old (except gpu) Cpu : Amd 1055t Mobo : gb 880ga ud4h Gpu : xfx r9 380 ram : 4*2 kingston hyperx hdd: wd 1 tb psu : thermaltake 700w litepower le cooling : h60 corsair watercooling
  11. So nothing appears on the tv screen? Maybe when you log in it detects that t.v. is connected and sends the signal there
  12. When the tv is connected to the pc and turn on to the channel pc or hdmi, either one , does the windows screen appears there?
  13. I search in internet's calculations site about my rig and psu , it seems that i need more watts around1200w and i run my pc with 700w. Could this be the problem?
  14. I have the pc for 7 year's and the problems only started recently, i will try clear my cmos as you said. Thank you for your suggestion.
