  1. Hey! I couldnt find anything on my current issue with my new build, so I figured I would post and see if anyone could help. I have a B550-A-PRO from MSI and a brand new 5600x, I updated the bios just in case, even though the serial number says it should already be compatiable, I plop the cpu, and my ASROCK RX580 8gb, as well as a stick of ram. THIS is where the issue is, I boot the board, the troubleshooting LEDS start there order of operations, boot, dram, vga, then when it hit CPU, it just stays lit, and does nothing no matter how long I leave it. I have already tried Resetting the CMOS Building the entire system again out of the case, Re-plugging wires, changing ram slots/dimms SINCE it isnt posting, I cant get any other information other than that, not even as much as a msi logo The only thing I can think of is the MOBO is faulty, but its literally brand new. I hate this I just want my computer to post Would trying a diffferent BIOS version have any effect, perhaps an older one would cause it to be able to post with my (slightly) old GPU, I have no idea im starting to feel lost since all the troubleshooting guides are if one of the LEDS are blinking, or if a different issue like no power occurs. But this is stumping me
  2. Original OEM screen: 798926-009 Part number: W2N51UA Model number: OMEN BY HP - 17-W253DX Does anyone know if this model laptop could be upgraded from its original 1080p 60hz screen up to a higher refresh rate/resolution panel?
  3. My friend has a Corsair H100i V2 connected to a 6900k and we can't tell why It's not coolng. Everything is plugged in correctly according to the spec of the PC and no heat radiates away from the fins. When he touches the cooling passages one is hot and one is cold. Could this be the pump is not working? The pump appears to spin when the computer is on boot but it stops vibrating when it hits the OS. What could be going wrong here?
  4. Hi there! I currently have an older desktop PC without wireless connectivity, But I need internet on it and I am in a rural area so getting things shipped to me takes weeks. I also have access to a cell phone and windows laptop at the moment, Is it possible to connect my laptop/phone and Desktop computer and give it access to the internet for a short time?
  5. I agree to some extent if you are willing to wait and look for a good deal then go for the laptop...Laptops also have several other uses like video editing, portability, ext But if you don't want to deal hunt or spend more for something higher quality then just get a ps4
  6. That's funny, the Original Xbox one is still louder than any laptop I have ever worked with.
  7. I would totally recommend you get a used gaming laptop because the price's of them drop really quickly and you can snag a deal on a nice one for not too much money. Consoles are a good idea, but consider that you are going to have to buy more controllers($60-80 each) and games which cost way more on a console.
  8. Are you able to crossfire it with another R9 280x?
  9. Gta is known to have problems with un-activated versions of windows, do you have an activated version of windows?
  10. I'm looking to see if anyone knows about an All in one kit for building a stereo Fm transmitter for my car. I want it to produce as high-quality sound as possible but also not be super expensive.
  11. Check to make sure the CPU cooler is set on the cpu correctly, Make sure you added thermal paste in between them as well.
  12. I personally like the look of the Corsair ram better, And the Samsung Bdies Are usually better than Hynix ones
  13. He is correct I explained it wrong Lmao
  14. They should be fine just have both sticks in there and your motherboard will either run them as separate sticks and not make it dual channel or it will lower the clock of the 2666mhz down to 2400mhz so that they are the same speed
