  1. I'll keep note of this! Thank you so much for the comprehensive response and help. Stay safe out there!
  2. Oddly enough I did no cloning or such. I simply replaced my HDD with SSD, then I booted it up. So basically they don't even have any origin folders anymore but they won't let me remove/uninstall them. (If it helps, I had two SSDs, the old one and the new one, both are installed in my laptop as of this moment)
  3. Recently changed my old HDD to SSD, now there are apps that look like the one attached below: They, technically, don't take up space but it's annoying to see them as part of the list when I try to uninstall or add programs. How can I fix this without having to reinstall the applications?
  4. It seems my OS is already installed in my SSD and not HDD. Do I still need to back it up before I replace my failing HDD? (It says I need 990GB, I don't think I have enough space on my external harddrive for that) EDIT: Nvm, it's all good now!
  5. I'll keep this in mind! But I'll try my luck first contacting the reputable computer shop around here since I may lack the necessary tools/equipments you mentioned. Thank you again!
  6. Hello, I'm done backing up the necessary files. If you don't mind me asking, how should I proceed with backing up my OS (pre-installed btw) and the like?
  7. Is there a way for me to check what hard drives are compatible with my laptop? It's currently HDD, how can I check if I can replace it with SSD (or is that given)?
  8. Got it, I'm doing it as we speak. I'll just try and ask again once everything's done. Thank you so much!!
  9. I keep seeing that I need applications to back up my Windows and such, could you maybe point me to where I can find useful guides regarding this?
  10. My laptop is roughly 4 years old (maybe more, I can't exactly recall) and recently it's been having moments where the screen freezes/lags with an accompanying clicking noise. I haven't been able to clean the internal hardware since mid-2019 as I left my laptop tools at my dorm back in my University. Any suggestions on what I should do and how should I perform a back-up (just in case I'll need to change my HDD)? Specs and pertinent information: MSI GE62VR 7RF (laptop) Windows 10 64-bit (pre-installed) Intel i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz BIOS: American Megatrends Inc., E16JBIMS.30F (6/13/2017) 16GB RAM (Kingston, according to Intel Tuning Utility System Info) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (4 GB RAM) HGST HTS721010A9E630 1TB (HDD) Samsung MZNLN256HMHQ-00000 250GB (SSD) I've gotten three BSODs on separate occassions during those 4 years, the latest one was around September of this year. They usually reboot just fine so I didn't pay it no mind. Let me know if I should still attach dump files. I also forgot if I underclocked/overclocked my laptop (I'm pretty sure I underclocked since my laptop easily overheats) Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you
  11. I'm finally back with the benchmarks! Hope it's right this time. Here you go: Thanks a bunch for the help Unigine_Heaven_Benchmark_4.0_20171121_2316.html Unigine_Heaven_Benchmark_4.0_20171121_2309.html HWinfo64 test sensor only.CSV
  12. I still don't have the laptop on-hand by the way, and my sister didn't have the time to run the benchmarks you suggested. But she was able to send the OCCT GPU and mhz graphs that she forgot to send last time. Here they are: https://imgur.com/a/FXZ0Q | https://imgur.com/a/6R2OC In case you still want me to run the hwinfo in sensor, just let me know.
