I will give up on the soundblaster though. For some reason after restart the card appears as "Recon3D". Multiple reinstalls did nothing. Seems windows updates drivers for it automatically but installs the wrong ones

Hello, I have an issue with Windows 10 audio. Sound is skipping and crackling from time to time. Have tried everything google said - disable enchantments, reinstall drivers, change sample rates etc. PC is ryzen 1600, 16gb ddr4, gtx1080, gigabyte b350 gaming 3, some ssds, soundblaster Z sound goes to Onkiyo reciever via optical cable and is running in DTS Connect mode. Any ideas? I even cleaned the reciever and put an cooling fan on top of it, but seems it getting hot was not the issue. Latency issue? Something with ASIO?

After alot of restarts it started working. Not sure what I did but it seems to work again.

Have not used soundblaster in ages. How does it do in DTS 5.1 home cinema setup?

Hey, any alternatives to https://www.asus.com/ee/Sound-Cards/Xonar_DSX/ I would need windows audio upmixed to DTS and sent to reciever via SPDIF. Any other card you would recommend? My Xonar D2X has had issues since latest windows updates - sound crackling etc. Seems its not longer supported in windows 10, not even with Xonar Unified Drivers

It simply does not do anything if I change color or mode. Updated to latest bios on Gigabyte B350 Gaming 3 - F10 and updated RGB Fusion to latest version. When I change color in BIOS then only the connected RGB strip changes color, not motherboard lights themselves. What to do?
