  1. So I've been on Windows 11 for quite some time now and recently I have been having random blue screens for different things. I'm not sure if these are caused by software or hardware failing. Windows 11 Crashes I can remember: - I had one just now for dxgmms2.sys - I had one a few days ago for wdfilter.sys(this one I had a friend diag and we found some corrupt files in Windows and fixed them) - I had one that was related to the Logitech GG software These crashes aren't consistent, sometimes they happen when I'm gaming or they will happen when im browsing the internet. I have gone and made sure everything is up to date, the only thing I haven't updated is my bios.
  2. I think I will just follow @Eigenvektor opinion and get a 2x16gb kit and return the 16gb kit. filling 4 slots is cool to look at but these issues are not worth it. I have seen 4x8gb kits but they cost quite a bit more the a 2x16gb kit does.
  3. XMP is enabled all 4 sticks are on 3200. My issues seem to be random, like discord crashing on start up and needing a reboot to fix(this wasn't an issue prior)(Also shutting down windows to reboot gave me a blue screen).
  4. The sticks are still returnable, should swap to a 2x16gb/4x8gb set? I haven't ran into any issues since, though that doesn't mean I wont. Also I have it set to XMP(it was already there) as I'm not familiar with ram OC.
  5. So I recently added 16gb of ram to my pc, they are same stick different version, Corsair Vengeance Pro(old) + Corsair Vengeance Pro SL(new). So after adding the ram I experienced a immediate game crash on start up(PUBG) followed up by the game getting stuck in a update/verifying loop and I could not update the game, this loop also effected another game(ATS). In the process to troubleshoot I verified game files, cleared download cache and repaired the install folder. This did not fix the issue until I removed the new ram and the updates went through without issue. Now that I removed the new pair and placed the old pair in slots 2,4 to see if it was a slot issue but my pc booted without issues and was still able to update games, I then tried this with the new ram on their own and had no issues. I now have all 4 back in and ran some benchmarks and had no crashes, but I played PUBG for about 5 minutes and experience a crash and haven't tried again. I tried ATS and that worked, no other games tried yet. Some other issues I experience have been 2 windows(11) crashes, google has froze up a few times, and some other random app crashes. Any questions I can answer. Basic Specs: 3800x 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance Pro SL RGB GTX 1080 ti 2 m.2 SSD, 1 SSD, 1 HDD Gigabyte X570 Windows 11 Pro
  6. looking to upgrade my ssd to a bigger size and m.2, was wondering if there is a noticeable difference between the two as a gamer. the WD is about $50 cheaper for me.
  7. I'm a bit behind on this but, I personally recommend against the acrtis pro + Gamedac with my experience( they are my current headset). You will need to buy thicker cups since the factory ones are not deep enough and your ears will hurt overtime. Also I have an issue where I have to unplug the gamedac and plug it back in every time I restart my pc for windows to see it(I've done a lot of troubleshooting and haven't found a solution). I'm currently looking at getting something else but haven't found anything yet. Your experience may be different from mine.

you should try seeing if it comes on at the same time or every x amount of time. Random idea could be a clock chiming every hour per say.
  9. Hey, just looking to see if anyone has ran into this before as I can't reach SteelSeries support. Basically every time I turn on my PC I have to disconnect my gamedac and plug it back in for windows to recognize it. I have tried: Reinstalling drivers Updating BIOS(since I heard AMD was having some USB issues) Removing the gamedac chat and mic from device manager and re-plugging in the device Reinstalling the SteelSeries GG Software this isn't something that has started recently, I've just been dealing with it and getting fed up with it. Any ideas or tips appreciated
  10. I'd like for there to be some bass there but I have desktop speakers with a sub if I want to listen to something really bassy. The headphones will mainly be for gaming and anime/YouTube. also could you elaborate a bit on the sharper sounds(if you mean can I handle sharper sounds then, yes). lastly sound wise I'm just looking to improve the sound quality generally speaking to enjoy anime/YouTube to a higher degree. if it helps competitively in games that is also what I'm trying to accomplish. if there is a better option other than the 6xx, that would be great. This might be a hard search since I'm using them for different uses.
  11. I listen to all music but mainly dubstep, rap/hip hop, metal/rock. I'd like to get a setup that gives a fuller sound if that makes sense and help me in a competitive aspect with hearing things. Being new to audiophile setups, I'm not to sure if this is too much to ask for from one set of headphones. also thanks for the help.
  12. sorry I wasn't clear on my post the $600 was for both headphones and DAC/AMP. I do both casual and competitive gaming. I'm trying to figure out a headphone and dac/amp setup that will be good for both gaming and tv under that budget. I wasn't sure which to go with since there are so many options to choose from and as it be my first step into fancy headphones other then gaming headsets. I dont have to go with the hd 6xx if there are better suited options.
  13. I'm looking into upgrading my audio setup which currently is a steel series arctis pro with the game dac. I'm looking into getting headphone and amp/dac setup for gaming as well as anime/tv. Through my research the Sennheiser hd 6xx were a decent choice, I'm not sure which dac/amp I should pair it with. I have a budget of $600CAD and was wondering what other options I should consider.
  14. better perspective, the server and I are in the same Province.
  15. one was bitdefender paid for, the other was a trial for tunnelbear. In both cases me and the server are located in Canada.
