So if I used a 4k monitor and it doesn't support a 4k it would look even worse then the 1440p?

To tell the truth is think I can live with the 4k 60hz display for now. Sense I'm used to having to use my 1080p TV. Might as well go for the better picture with 4k. Any disputes or ideas like? I'm planning on upgrading an getting a 4k 144 hz monitor when they come out later this year anyway.
