uhh, Thankyou... Finally smeone who gets it, I am a computer hobbiest so all I know about computers are self-thought, I had similar experiences where pop was weird, and Ubuntu was just such a breath of fresh air. Help is easy, mods are easy, everything works out of the box. i like Manjaro better, but ubuntu is just less bug ridden.

on the point of Aliexpress.. No, not comfortable buying from Ali for various reasons pertaining to trust and the A12x25 is an option, infact I would buy it today if the T30 takes to long to be available

you need a fan that can push air faster than the fans on the D15 otherwise it will actualy impede cooling since airflow becomes slower
-
it depends on how you store it, every thing eventualy degrades, for example you might have kept it in a humid environment which could create rust on the solders and what not. thats why I don't generaly like to resel old devices stored in ware houses.. its too many variables that could ruin something

the pro model is MLC, but youshould instal samsung magic software to view the wear of the SSD

does anybody know will the T30 be available in the Southeast Asian region ? so far zero people are selling the T30 here. Also tin foil hat theory: the T30 is actualy design by and made by Noctua but sold under Phanteks brand, I mean they use the same materials, the same premium packageing, maybe they just made a deal with them?

No no, I used a diffren ram kit, so i'm now runing a 2x16gb ram at 3600mhz cl18 so I'm running 2 channels only lower capacity.. the motherboard only has 2 slots, and the previous 64gb kit is at a friend of mine being tested for potential ram stick issue not detected in the ram test. Vut, tnx for your concerne
-
just to let you know, it turns out, there is a problem with the ram, but not the ram sticks them selves, the bios just does not play nice with 64gb of ram. for some reason even though the mobo suports it. but at least my system is now runing stable on 32gb of ram. thqs for the help

Ok so this happened, i tried stick no1, no erors, then tried stick no 2 no erors, tried changing slots, no erors. Then I put them both in and suddenly shutsdown after 16 percent. Why is that?

Should i move to Linux and which version?
XVB replied to xdenter's topic in Linux, macOS and Everything Not-Windows
In the end it won't really matter after you know how the OS works, you can make it act like any other distro, but you should start with Ubuntu for a solid foundation on how most distros work -
Ok, if you checked that the ssd worked on other systems, checked the sata cables, checked the power cables, and was not detected in the bios even after cmos reset, then I am afraid it might be faulty Motherboard
-
Cause if I run all 16 cores, the shut downs were more frequent, at first i though it was overheating.. dang, my head is spining now at the revelation that its geting more likely it was a ram issue.. Ok, now I have to test the ram, I will post my results
-
Have you tried clearing the cmos?
-
Ok, one more question please, in this screenshot, does everything look normal to you? Specifically the temps. You see I had to shutdown 8 cores for it to be stable, but say its attached to a 240mm AIO.. is this normal?
