  1. We could properly review Threadripper Pro 7000, but since none of you will be purchasing one anyway we figured having a bit of fun with it was in order.

  2. My general rules for washing:

    • Always use cold water
    • Separating by colour isn't really necessary when using cold water. Instead sort by roughness. I.e. have your socks, plaid shirts and towels in one load, underwear and LTT t-shirts in another.
    • If it is stretchy don't use high heat in the dryer.  Go low heat for longer. Ideally air dry.
    • Mousepads you can just huck in the clothes washer, hang dry.

    What’s a good thermal epoxy?

Super curious on this too since they were talking about it in the video. I tried some epoxy off of amazon with horrible thermal conductivity (couldn't find anything over 1w/mk) and it didn't work at all. At idle it could cool the system a tinny bit better than with no fans on but as soon as I went into a game it couldn't keep up and thermal throttled just in menus.

I've used this stuff from MG Chemicals, it only has a thermal conductivity of 1.4W/mK but when assembling a heatsink the thermal conductivity of your adhesive is likely not going to be the bottleneck, tho solder is of course a lot better.

  4. We've made the MacBook Air cooler many times, but with the help of Frore Systems this time Apple should pay attention.

You'll first have to combine all of your displays into one output in the Nvidia control panel.  Depending on what GPU you have it might be called something different but I used Mosaic, likely will have to make the middle one 1080P for it to work.  After that just chuck the resolution of all 3 combined into that file and turn on Windowed Borderless, should be good to go

No Logitech is not 'still supporting the drivers of G27 wheel. You can see Alex is using Windows 10. On my windows 11 laptop i cant even configure a button on forza let alone play Assetto corsa. I found some ways like disabling some hyper virtual something something. But come mon... please make a software for win 11 logitech or someone please help me! I just bought that wheel for 200$CAD and my clutch doesnt work my shifter doesnt work 😔😭

I'm using it in Windows 11 without any problems at all.  Have you tried downloading the Windows 10 drivers?

Kinda disappointed we go from G27 -> insanity without checking out some of the cheap DD options like the Moza R5 and Fanatec CSL DD. It's a pretty big jump just being able to get all that extra detail and especially the lack of center deadzone

The evolution of sim racing gear according to this video

    1. Cheapest wheel you can ever get
    2. Controller
    3. Dated entry level force feedback
    4. Actual End game without just driving the real car.

Would have loved to also try out the Monza R5 or the Fanatec CSL DD in the video but it can only be so long and that was where we decided to speed things up a bit

    Hey, everyone

really nice video, enjoyed it a ton @jakkuh_t, we would really love to know what happened with linus ubiquiti enterprise 48 switch that caught fire and smoke in the video, since its the first time i have seen a ubiquiti product do that...

Definitely want to know what happened to the switch to cause magic smoke to escape.

We have absolutely no idea why it blew up.  Checked the power cord with a multimeter and it was fine.  Replaced the switch and all has been good.

Question, I had to go to Micro Center for something today.  I asked about there being any UV blacklight glass tubes/glass bulbs available specifically designed for computer case lighting and they said that there really aren't any because everyone is using the cheap LED strips.

CableMod makes some.  They're kinda expensive and use a stupid IR controller, but they also will plug into your PSU so that's cool.

I forgot to answer your question about the mounting bracket....yes I have it but no matter what, I cannot use it because it will not fit.....If I use it to attach to the bottom of the case itself then it causes the pump/reservoir to have to move over towards the GPU in order to be mounted on the bracket and if I attach it to the pink fans standing upright then it also cause the pump/reservoir to not fit in relation to the GPU.  I am forced to have to attach the housing that the pump/reservoir gets mounted in to the case bottom.

    Looks fine in the pictures!

My build just turned into a disaster! First off the slots at the bottom of the case that go from the back of the case, where the PSU is to the front. Those slots are too small to fit the connectors for the PSU cables. The ones at the top are fine, and the ones that run down the side where the motherboard gets mounted and where the fan and radiator get mounted fine but the ones at the bottom too small for the connectors to fit through. I also just installed my GPU with the GPU install. There’s no room for the Hydro X pump/reservoir.  The case I purchased is an 80 X size case which I thought would be adequate enough boy was I wrong in order to do a full water cooling loop you pretty much need an EATX size case. I will now be looking for a pink EATX case.

Do you have the fan mount for the Hydro X? It might still be possible but real tight.  But yeah for custom water cooling EATX makes your life sooo much easier.

  13. You're going to want to absolutely send it with the UV lighting.  Tempered glass will knock off a lot of your brightness and UV glow is way less than RGB lighting that is currently on your parts.  UV paint or UV sharpies can really help get some extra pop in areas you want it.  Bitspower used to make UV lights designed to go in a computer, but imo it is better to just go to a party store or Amazon and get a cheap UV light bar.  Also for bonus points the Cablemod Modmesh cables are UV reactive and look absolutely sick under UV light.

We wanted to use the Ally because then we could get screen recording to make the final video better.  With the Switch + dock there was no way to do that
