  1. I'm in my way to complete my build but dammn I'm stuck with this question about what the best to buy, I ready made my mind on all parts except graphics card/ monitor
  2. @Vroooom one time I bought a laptop and I saw a dead pixel that turned to red after that I returned it, I notice details
  3. let me tell you I feel uncomfortable when I see something is wrong
  4. someone said there will be tearing on a 144hz but not like like 60hz monitor, it depends also on the frames the graphics card is pushing
  5. well the G-sync is about 380+ euros , the free-sync is quite affordable for 250+(I'm only talking about 144hz monitors )
  6. Hi guys My questions are Does the free-sync/g-sync make a huge noticeable difference enough to spend extra cash on it? What is the best to buy, a 1080p 60hz monitor(because g-sync is expensive) paired with GTX 1060 or higher cards to get no tearing or stuttering using fast sync, to get an RX 580 or higher paired with a1080p 144hz free-sync monitor? (because they are cheaper + RX cards can stay in the sync range) or to get a 1060 or higher with a 144hz 1080p monitor if syncing is not an issue. I ask these questions because I don't know how these cards will preform without sync, will it matter or not. I will appreciate your answers
  7. dude you have money I don't, I only can go in the three ways I mentioned in the post, you can tell me what is the best, as you have tested g-sync/free-sync, you can tell me if it does matter that much to spend money on but please just put your self if my place as broke ass guy who finally have money for a PC after 4 years of laptop.
  8. sorry I mean 0.15930 euros its doesn't make sense if you buy a graphics card for 400 euros then buy a monitor for 400 euros, its not affordable my friend
  9. well the RX vega is about 429-449 euros and Black Friday is coming, our electricity is 0.15930 cents per KWH, you said g-sync +1060 when you saying in the same time the 1060 is not powerful enough to run 144hz and that's true, I can't find g-sync monitors with 60hz
  10. I know how it works but I don't know if these high end cards will have such things
  11. you have to consider this first before buying " OEM A product designed for sale to an equipment manufactuer (Doh!), usually comes without a fancy box, software often has to be downloaded. Support and warranty can differ from the retail version as well. Very rarely an OEM version of a card can be clocked slower, have a different BIOS or have reduced specs/features. Check carefully, compare all specs to the full "retail" version of the card, and if you are lucky the only difference will be missing out on some bundled games or a driver cd that is outdated anyway." you have to see for how many years did he use it and check the card with benchmarks before buying.

  13. yes I know I didn't notice it was the Vega FE and I thought it was the 56 I reacted too fast I guess sorry
  14. @(嗜杀本性)狼队 女 梅 I can run the monitor and it will work even if it has freesync but I will have to disable it if I had nvidia
  15. Freesync doesn't work with Nvidia its impossible those are two different technologies
  16. @(嗜杀本性)狼队 女 梅 I already gave my situation, I want to do it on 144hz I don't care that much about graphics but smoothness and no problems
  17. I only want to hear one clear answer because man I got headache from all of this, here me out vega 56 + freesync or gtx 1080 + nothing or gtx 1070 + nothing but its still the cheapest its something to consider but not necessarily.
  18. yes the G-sync is expensive fancy pants, its like 150 euros more just for the dammn monitor, I have a budget for 500 euros graphics card and 270 euros 144hz monitor but I won't pay 420+ for G-sync and I'm on a tight budget most people are so if lots of people might get something useful out of this thread some people have lots of expernices sharing their thoughts about this situation
  19. as I saw in the videos the 1080 is only couple frames more not to big of a deference
  20. Ok sorry if I made it too long for you, I might turn things down if I have to not a big deal
  21. but this is the thing with new gpu's they will give lots frame per second and if its under 144hz but still close to that it will make a big deference when it come to smoothness between frames and refresh rate and it will make them dance together in a Harmonie. so if I got 100-144 fps its more useful to have freesync and I don't have money for g-sync so its either freesync or nothing
  22. @ZenMonkey even if I can't play at ultra settings but cap my fps at a point under or the same as refresh rate with turning down my graphics I can achieve smooth gameplay and playing at 60 or 400 for me I can't tell the difference
  23. I'm buying a 144hz monitor for the sake of smoothness and to not make my eyes get tired I guess
  24. But what about free-sync as higher frame rate doesn't matter if you have tearing, the vega 56 have been already tested and I saw lots of reviews if I get 60fps in all games at ultra settings but no tearing using free sync its better than having 100 fps with 1080 with tearing. and you can see that in this video
