I have version 0902. I've also come across a few other problems when going into my bios and leaving after that. When I save the changes and reset it's (90% of the time) either stuck on Code 15: Detect Memory or shows a black screen but it says it's in the bios menu. So I don't know what's exactly going on here.
Yup Asrock really kind of messed things up too with my temps by going Tctl I usually have to rely on other software like amd master utility for better results.
I'll double check my system tonight post a ss of my normal idle temps and load they are about 50s-70s doesn't go below that and im OC'd a little of 4 ghz
Now that i think about it those sound normal but then again im not really sure what Asus is using for temp source.

which bios is it currently on found this on the support site.

did you confirm the temps with the amd master utility software or are you going by the mobo? also what mobo are you using there could be an offset.

videos being deleted from the cloud is why I don't trust the cloud storage and will always chose local storage first.
edit: to be clear when I say videos I'm not even talking about pron, who actually keeps that around and doesn't go find a new video online each time?
but it takes hours to find that one video im lazy

i think i did this before if its not completely dead you can try and get to it with parted magic https://partedmagic.com/ or some other linux software i only know parted magic
use this usb tool https://unetbootin.github.io/
then boot into parted magic to see if you can recover your stuff.
good download link for partedmagic its older but will sill do the job: http://download.cnet.com/Parted-Magic-LiveUSB/3000-2094_4-10700868.html

I think it's a bit misleading to start out by calling his statement 'false' when his main point was about fan life. The noise aspect was just a side note. You responded to someone talking about fan curves by saying you run yours at 85% 'all the time' then come back and say you use a fan curve most of the time.
Which is why i clarified.

Are there many cables obstructing airflow? Good airflow needs good cable management as well.
In this way you are also going to kill your GPU fans faster (other than killing your ears).
False I have headphones. I know the health of the fans will degrade if you run them at that speed all the time which is why I use a fan curve. I actually only run the card at 85 pct during gaming sessions which is usually maybe an hour or two just to clarify.

So you are using the auto fan speed setting right have you tried setting a manual aggressive fan curve.
Usually in my case I disregard sound for thermals and run the fans manually at about 85 pct all the time.

What fan speed do you run on the card?

Well yesterday after playing around with my budget computer I was getting sick of the Corsair fans that are jet engine loud so I decided to buy some new fans for it.
Obviously I'm not getting Nocutas or any Be quiets! for an old and cheap system but i stumbled upon these fans.
- Artic F12 PWM PST https://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-F12-PWM-PST-Controlled/dp/B002QVLBM2
The reviews for these fans are mostly positive the price was pretty good under 9 dollars US for a new fan and they are supposed to be quiet too.
I never heard of Artic before I do like the looks maybe these are secret treasures.
I ended up buying a few of them hoping to cover the case with these fans and have a few extras for future builds and stuff.
What do you guys think worth the gamble?

i wonder if my manager is doing the same thing i wouldn't be surprised if he is. Whenever there's mining news brought up he never stops talking about it.

Well it turns out the the $60 1080ti wasnt legit. Compromised Ebay account as most of us figured. Getting my money back today and will probably get a 1060 until the end of Q3 early Q4 when hopefully prices drop. From what I understand we might see a substantial price drop when Samsung releases their ASIC mining cards. Dont quote me on that but you gotta have hope!
why did you go for it lol
-
try a whole pizza pie for yourself enough carbs and fats to keep you going for days with that have a liter of coke or pepsi or whatever soda you want boom one sitting superjunk'd

Nothing wrong with it.How long it might or might not last is not something anyone could say because that is highly dependant on luck. But what Dark Power are you talking about?
550, 650, 750, 850, 1000 or 1200W??A blackline P4 or P5 would be a Problem, as would be Dark Power P6, P7 and P8 and similar old series.

Has anyone ever had a dark power 11 PSU fail on them before from be quiet! i just got one from a liquidation parts sale at my local PC shop its platinum rated and looks sweet but concerned about how long it has been there. I looked it up they started selling these like in
2013(edit:2015) don't know how long this thing has been on the shelf but i can see why people didn't go out of their way to get one the price was pretty steep. I'm a evga guy myself but the supernova i have is starting to whine a bit.
