  1. OK thanks. I'm gonna try to bring it back this week sometime. Do you suggest trying another one or getting a different build all together?
  2. Thats what i was thinking, but i was just worried hitting 100c while not pushing it super hard was an issue. im not very savvy with these things i just dont want to mess something up i payed 1500 for lol
  3. When i undervolt it that seems to help by a few degrees, but i shouldnt have to do that to a new pc right? is it just a problem with that individual chip? would you suggest returning it for a different one?
  4. Maybe investing in a good cooling pad would be a good idea? or should i be worried about those temps? I feel like rocket league isnt that resource intensive and shouldnt be making this happen, it also goes pretty high while playing csgo and i have it on basically min settings.
  5. it just got up to 98c while playing rocket league, it started thermal throttling. Would undervolting help in this situation and if so by how much?
  6. just ran a stress test with intel tuning and it got up to 90c according to the program what do i do?
  7. I'm pretty sure I have those disabled already but I'll check when I get home. I'll watch that whole video too.
  8. I was using the Intel tuning program I'll post a pic of the stress test readings in a little bit. About how long should I run one to get good readings?
  9. Both were hitting about 80c give or take a few degrees. I will post screenshots when im off work of the exact specs.
  10. Just bought a new msi gs63vr gaming laptop with an i7 7700hq CPU and a geforce 1060 GPU. Ive only had it for a couple days but I feel like the temps in it are a little high. Am I just overreacting? Is this normal for a laptop with that kind of power in it? Anything I can do to help it.
