  1. I'm looking to sell my Lenovo Y510p. It matches everything except the screen size, but the HDMI out can take care of that. Send me a message if interested.
  2. I meant 280x, but I had just been looking at the 780.
  3. I got the overkill PSU because I plan to set up crossfire in he near future. The mobo/GPU color wasn't really a consideration because the case I chose doesn't have a window, but I'll consider it. How how much of a performance boost would crossfire with two 280x cards provide?
  4. Thanks. Do you know which non reference card of the 280x would be best? Or would you recommend and nitrous different card?
  5. Alright guys, after several modifications to the list and a few other posts that have now died, I think my build is complete. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/TechJunkie141/saved/34sy So this build is probably the one I'm going with, but I've still got a few questions. 1. Is there anything I can do to make this machine more powerful? (I'm keeping the case) 2. My budget for now is $1000 - $1200. Are there any components I could get to improve performance for about the same price? 3. I plan to OC. Is water cooling necessary? 4. And generally what is your opinion of the build? 5. How long should I expect my Graphics card to perform well? "well" meaning 1920x1080, max settings, etc.
  6. Yeah.. I was kinda anxious to get the ball rolling on this project.
  7. What about the EVGA GTX 760? It's got the same core clock, etc as the other card, but 4 GB RAM.
  8. The card I've got is an R9 280X. I might not set it up for crossfire now but it would be a nice option t have in the future.

  10. Well, that's a bit out of my budget. How much would it affect performance with cross firing one card on PCI 2.0 (16) and the other one on (8)?
  11. Alright guys, I'm posting once again for some help. The CPU I've chosen is the AMD FX-8230, and I have no idea what to look for in a motherboard other than I need an AM3+ and at least two Data 3 slots. Is there anything else I need to look for?
  12. Yeah, I made a new build and forgot to update the link. Sorry about that. EDIT: Link http://pcpartpicker.com/user/TechJunkie141/saved/34sy
  13. Numpad all the way. As for the mouse, I usually play pretty much anything. Lately I've done more fps and rpg, and generally tend to use the palm grip.
