Houston2222's Achievements

  1. The best anti-virus I have found after extensive testing is 360 Total security. I have ran many Trojans, Virus's and pieces of code past 360 and they all have been detected. It has a constantly updated database of virus's and rolls out new updates almost every day. You will not be notified of the updates though, so it wont be annoying. Here is the link to look at it, http://www.360totalsecurity.com/
  2. Here, Ill Break out my old Intel I486 SX. It runs at 66 MHz and has 1 core! I bet I can beat your record low.
  3. I just configured a Avamar ADS Gen 3 Server and am unable to use the full raid drives storage amount. In the server I have 6x 1TB WD Red Drives. They are setup through an Dell Perc 6I Raid Controller in RAID 5. Nas4Free is the OS I'm using, It shows a 4TB Drive when Adding it. This makes sense because its RAID and the formatting. Although When Viewing the drives total size in the menu it shows up at 500GB. Any Ideas would be very helpful. Thank you in advance. Stats: CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5504 @ 2.00GHz RAM: 32 GB DDR3 Ram OS: Nas4Free 11.0.0.4 Drives: 6x 1TB WD Red RAID Controller: Dell Perc 6I RAID Config: RAID 5 Model: Avamar Gen 3
  4. Yes there is a cable and it goes to a Bios and Controller Battery. Will the controller automatically do the RAID if I set it up with Nas4Free. Instead of software RAID? Thank you very much
  5. That's what I though, But when I tried that it said no configurable disk's.
  6. At least I thought I did..... When I Enter Nas4Free, it still shows up as one disk, is that normal? And how do I know if the RAID 0 is working?
  7. Thank you all for the reply's I got it up and running like I needed, Thank you.
  8. I am unable to change the RAID level at all on the Controller but I can add and remove discs, and ideas?
  9. Thank You for the Reply, I will be right back I'm testing this out.
  10. Thank you, I am stuck trying to figure out how to change the RAID level though, I wanted to try that earlier. Do you have any ideas?
  11. I Just received a Avamar ADS Gen 3 Server. I want to set it up with Nas4Free or FreeNas and am able to install and use the GUI like normal but am unable to add the Hard drives Separately. It shows up as one disk with no stats or Information. The Raid controller is a Dell PERC 6I PCI-E Controller and I have 6 1TB Drives. I really want to set this up as soon as I can and have very little free time to work on this. Any help is appreciated. Thank you
