  1. has anyone had issues with cable mod? it appears the messed up on some cables i ordered and its been a month since i contacted them with no reply.. the connector pin location isnt the same for the cable i ordered
  2. hey never overclocked before and was looking for a guide specific to what i have and i couldnt find one, any body have experience with overclocking on an asus z270-a prime witha i5 7600k?
  3. havent overclocked it yet cuz i havent done it before but ill learn
  4. depends if the game is optimized or a cpu intesive game tho?
  5. will a i5 7600k bottle neck a 1070? or does it just depend on the game and wether its cpu intensive or if the game is optimized and stuff? getting 100% cpu usage and 70% gpu usage on for honor at 1080p
  6. just wondering why the gpu usage is at 60-70% and cpu usage at 90-100% it thought it should be the other way around? playing for honor on max settings on 1070 strix and 7600k i5
  7. I'll have to check that I suppose
  8. Got a new nzxt rgb aer fan and it's noisy, defiantly not because it's rattling against the case, I put some padding between the case and the fan and it's still noisy, but when I push the exhaust side of the fan In the middle where the fan bearing is it stops making noise which seems like it's just the fan any cheap fixes I can do? threw the packaging away so I can't return it
  9. sweeet thanks for the tip actually the stand offs are not touching my mother board at all so im good
  10. can you give me a time stamp so i dont have to watch the whole video
  11. aye that worked, no fuzz when plugged in the passthrough on my monitor soooooo whats the deal then?
  12. welp basically there nine mounts i got x x o the ones with the x but the mount on the end are just hovering over nothing x x o x x o
  13. just built a new comp and when plugging into the audio port (green) in the motherboard i get static/fuzz with some audio but when i plug into the front panel headphone jack its fine, any idea's why?? i have a z270h rog strix one little note which might not matter but the mother board mounting screws didnt line up with just three holes for the case (evovle atx glass) and im not sure if theres grounds build into the mother board that require a screw in it but if thats true then maybe thats the problem?
  14. case: phanteks atx tempered glass cooler: nzxt kraken x51 The kraken instructions say to plug its 3pin connector into the cpu_fan and the phanteks instruction really want the pwm hub to be plugged into the cpu_fan phanteks says cpu_fan is "true" pwm even tho there's other pwm connectors on my mobo. They say these type of "non true" pwm connectors modulate rpm by voltage which has smaller control range. And that the Sata power cable can not be used to power the hub if connecting to these due to the interference with rpm regulation by voltage (resulting in fans running on full rpm). Basically they both want cpu fan so who gets it.. orrr can both get some?
