  1. Maybe the update messed up the system. I'll t the memtest as well then. Thanks a lot for the info.
  2. No I haven't use memtest. I can test the ram by putting it into another system right? So I will try to do that with the Help of my friends system. Because I dont know how to use memtest. And what if the problem lies with hard disk can i recover the data?
  3. I don't know, recently what happened to my HDD, whenever I'm starting my pc it takes me to blue screen of death where I read "inaccessible boot device" the last time when i shut down my pc, i remeber there was written update and shutdown. Son as usual I clicked on it and it was shut down eventually. But now its not turning up and giving me the BSOD amd sometimes it is even starting BIOS idk why. So I'm thinking of changing my HDD. And installing a new one. But can I recover any files from my previous HDD. I mean there were some important files in it. So by any means can i recover it? Or can i solve this entire issue?PS- I cannot enter into the trouble shoot screen. So can't even start the pc in safe mode. Basically can't even do anything. Any help will be appreciated thanks in advance.
  4. Okay. Thanks mate. ;__;
  5. so what should i do now? i mean which one to buy?
  6. https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=284673.0 just found this link and someone said its KEY M supported as well as B+M. so i guess im good to go with the m.2 sata one. and someone is saying that i need to remove the pins ;__;
  7. im having msi b350m mortar, and tbh i am not getting that which type of socket does it use. and ic an see only one pin or hole in the m.2 socket.
  8. I'm thinking of buying a M.2 SSD (WD Green or Blue) and want to install the windows there. So how to install the windows? I mean its nothing like that do i have to unplug the HDD (which i will be later on along with the SSD)? I never dealt with m.2 so I know it's a silly question. Just wanted a guide for the installation because I heard that sometimes t m.2 is not recognized by the pc. If anyone can help me that would be great. Thanks, tho.
  9. thanks! i am going to place an order for my new SSD :3
  10. so i i buy a SSD and if i pair that with my old HDD it will still give me fast response, right?
  11. Yeah. I'm thinking of the same thing. As speed is my main target. And as I told i dont store that much in my PC. So I think SSD will be be valid option.
  12. Actually I have a storage of 500 GB i know its sad but I don't store many things as I use my laptop as my primary device. But lately my PC is struggling, (obviously) I have a 500GB of HDD with a wooping 5200rpm yes. 5200!!!! So should I buy a SSD or a new HDD of 1 or 2TB of 7200rpm. And I can invest in one thing only. So which should I buy? I need to buy it very soon. Another thing i forget to mention, is that I'm gonna use that HDD if im buying a SSD. Thanks in advance.
  13. Hey, I'm totally new to overclocking and all. I have a ryzen 5 1600 along with msi b350m mortar mobo. I dont have any cooler and have the stock "wraith spire cooler" with it. Can anyone guide me every step Cuz I really wanna over clock it to atleast 3.7 or 3.8 . I know there many ways to OC it like from BIOS, ryzen master, mis gaming app bt I really wanna know which one. I have 8gb single ram stick of adata xpg 2400mhz. Please anyone here can guide me step by step? Like the frequency of ram. Should I change it or not? And all. And what applications should I use before amd after OC to check its stability. Thankyou for your time. Much appreciated.
  14. I'll dig into ebay or some other sites.
