  1. (Taken off of my Reddit post to get a larger community) I have been yearning for a new accessory to plug into a USB port or any other hole on my machine ;). With all joking aside I am curios about what PC accessory you have to have plugged into your rig at all times whether it be for fun, for productivity or just to say its there. Let me hear it!
  2. I was going to get a laptop for school but I was given one by a family member. So I decided to build myself a desktop gaming computer for some general gaming. I don't game 24/7 and I don't need to play the new triple A games. I like to play minecraft with mods (a lot or not a lot it depends), I like playing modded Skyrim. Things like that, generally not to intense of games, nothing like Ark, Tomb Raider or anything like that. And one of my friends has been building for a while now and had a spare FX -6300 because he had upgraded his to an 8350 a while back. He said since this would be my first build that he would just give me the processor for free so he could help me out. I was wondering should I take it? I know that the AM3+ platform is very very dated but it is a free 80 dollar processor so I could throw the 80 into a better graphics card, SSD or so one. Is this wise? I have a sub 450 dollar budget and I know I could upgrade intel down the line but please I do not want people ranting about AMD sucking because they are AMD I just want to know if an AMD FX-6300 could still be considered good by todays standard. I would be upgrading by the end of 2017 most likely to Zen because I will have a new credit card and will make monthly payments but for now I do not have much. So again is the FX - 6300 good? Will it lag doing general things or ruin my gaming experience? Thanks a lot guys this is my first post so thank you again for all your help!
