  1. How on earth did this misinformation get so crazy? Don't get an AIO for a machine that will be moving. They aren't designed to be constantly shifted, and constant moving will increase air bubbles in the line. And whatever person said an AIO has no moving parts, consider the PUMP. And for the other person saying AIO companies will pay for everything: ONLY Corsair, and only if it's clearly a defect in the cooler, and it was being used as intended. If you tell them you move it alot, that won't count. Get a solid air cooler and be done. You don't need to overclock your machine for your type of work, and even if you did, an air cooler like the Noctua can handle it fine.
  2. There's a number of reviews touting their silence. I think the most shocking thing is that whirring noise that makes them unsuitable even at idle. Almost any fan over $25 usually sounds fine when it's under 800 rpm. Very clearly a whole lot of hype.
  3. Tried out 4 different Corsair ML fans (all tested via PWM connection, so the magnetic levitation bearing was getting all 12v needed, and tested on multiple connections), all of them had this noise when running at low RPMs: Needless to say, very disappointed. I like the aesthetic and performance, but it's not worth ruining the idle noise of my machine. :\
