  1. What engineering program are you taking? Just curious. Anyways, I would suggest any asus rog gaming laptops with i7 if you want the quad-core. If you don't rush the laptops does drop pretty significantly from 300$ to 500$, so do wait for holidays.
  2. Ah, I wonder if new builds should use SSHDs or go with HDD and optane
  3. does this perform like hybrid storage?
  4. To me, having those issues just means that they don't last long
  5. Yeah razer was very well known for its durability issues, but I thought there would be much improvements from the new manufacturer. Well, I guess romer g and cherry mxs are the only 2 on my list now
  6. Anyone who experienced the new switch on the razer chroma v2 here? Can you guys tell me if there is much durability improvement
  7. MX Browns would be a good option, MX Clear is the same but it is heavier. I have not tried the clear one though.
  8. Yeah i do a lot of online talking and i have never thought of that. I guess the quietness does come handy, i heard that browns are "blues without clickiness and lighter actuation force" but what do you think about romer-g then, it has a very similar feeling
  9. I also look at the romer g because i prefer the shorter travelling distance comaparing to mx brown
  10. Love the clickiness and the short traveling distance from razer but people tell me that they have bad quality
  11. All I heard was the software optimization, the cache is fairly new to me. I guess I have become an outdated old guy lol.
  12. Yeah, I'm having 7600k currently as that's probably the best gaming cpu right now, but it is so great to see the competition in cpu market again. I'm guessing that intel would increase thread counts or core counts on gen 8 cpus.
  13. I totally agree with you, but if this is true, the solution for this and the software optimization would definitely bring amd back to the market.
  14. The memory cache has a problem and therefore affects l1 cache performance which leads to weak gaming performance. At least that's what I understood
  15. This guy's explanation kinda makes sense to me. Although I don't think it will win intel gaming performance, it sure will be close and be super competitive. Am I missing anything here? Can anyone confirm this?
