    That Cpu actually isn't that bad for now. I know its old but why would it only be at 5-25% used. its not bottlenecking it. According to open hardware monitor.

    So I've been having problems with my CPU and GPU not being used all the way. I am running at shit fps and my CPU, and GPU is only used at 25%. Im only using 50% RAM. Specs fx-8350 (yeah IK its bad im gonna upgrade when the price of DDR4 comes down) GTX-1050ti

    it's Ryzen 2. I was an Intel fanboy till ryzen came out, and its just better than the 8th generation for the price.

    wouldnt you have the benefit of having closer connection to the cpu because graphics cards have to talk through the PCIE slot

    You still have to buy the bandwidth from an ISP. The isps get it from level 2 and consumers don't have access to those.

    So, since graphics cards have dyes, similar to CPUs why don't we have motherboards with a GPU socket. You could just buy the gpu, for example GP104 and put it on the Mobo and buy something similar to a CPU heatsink. Why doesn't this exist. Is there actually a technical reason?

    So my friend, who I trust, has an fx-8350 for 85$, and it includes the Mobo, a hyper 212 evo and 8GB of ram. I know that processor is old, but I wanted to build an HTPC and the processor is completely unlocked. So I could squeeze some life out of it. Should I buy this and pair it with a 750ti or a 1050ti for a low power pc. Normally I wouldn't consider this processor but it seems to be a good deal. It would be for watching netflix, youtube etc on my Tv playing some indie games with a steam controller, or playing games using steam in-home streaming. Ill be using it as an HTPC, in a normal ATX case, probably a cheep case on amazon.

    So I noticed it has 4 threads per core. I've never seen that technology before. Are there any downsides. Also is there any chance that this will come to consumer or enthusest level CPUs in the near future?

    I already have a nas.. would a nas benefit from more power my current one has a dual core and 2GB of ram

    If it's strictly for gaming he doesn't need it. However if he is going other things then yes he probably needs it

    If he is just gaming 8GB is enough. I wouldn't sacrifice on something else to get more ram.

    If you use premere then it works better on Windows. However if you want to switch to final cut pro a MacBook is a good option. Tbh the people on here are probably bias on Mac vs PC. You should also post this on /r/suggestalaptop Also is that 2000$ budget in USD?
