For this I have to care more than most, were I work we use Huawei network equipment, quite a few million dollars worth and the replacement project is still ongoing. Regardless of whether I would have picked them myself it's what we went with and because we are still in the middle of that project and purchasing equipment this meddling could cause me much pain and extra work. It hasn't yet and I don't particularly expect it to but the possibility is there and if it does I wholly wish China immediately calls upon all US debts to be paid in full and tank their economy, fuck it let it all burn at that point. 

A true democracy does not involve any elected representatives; everyone votes on every issue. The US is a far throw from a true democracy. Like @ThePD said, we are neither a true democracy nor a true republic but somewhere in between. I say that currently we are much closer to a republic than a democracy. Our elected representative are often acting on their own political opinions rather than doing what their constituents tell them.

Republic: "A state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives..."
Democracy: "A system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives."

We elect representatives that then hold the power to create laws. We are neither a pure Democracy nor a Republic as our system of government in the US takes on aspects of both a Republic and a Democracy.

I think that 4.8ghz would probably be possible. And just like previous zen cpus all of them should be overclockable to get to that point, its just amd artificially making lower clock speeds from factory to sell at different price points. Thats how the last 2 zen were correct? If so then im 99% sure this is how itll be. 

This was a completely concious and deliberate move by Boeing.
 
One factor is: Added flight control systems with more than one sensor require flight crew to be retrained in a simulator, which induces cost for airlines. They sold the 737 MAX upgrade as an airliner that specifically doesn't require flight crew to be retrained in a simulator. The pilots weren't briefed on the existance of the MCAS, it would have required simulator training if they were.
 
This is not incompetence by Boening. It was deliberate decision to cut cost and get to market faster.

In short? Making Anthem was very much like making ME:Andromeda.
 
1. Many dev teams arguing and bickering
2. EA insisting on using Frostbite which was very hard for them
3. True developement started about 1.5 year ago (and not 6, like they claimed before)
4. The game wasn't even supposed to be named Anthem
5. The gameplay was supposed to be different as well
 
In short, if anyone thought that they sacrificed Andromeda for Anthem, they were wrong. The process looked very much the same.

Game was in pre-production from 2012 to 2018, at which point it finally went into full production and was crapped out in a year. They used an engine that wasn't made for RPGs, EA screwed them over by enforcing microtransactions, and it's just overall a massive shitshow. 
 
TLDR: Games as a service. 
 
EDIT: Also, despite EA being cancerous as usual, BioWare main team still had 7 years to finish the game and they still delivered jack-all. BioWare is well and truly dead. 

PC Gaming>actual real life boardgames>Nintendo>...........................everything else

Vulkan doesn't favour AMD any more than DX12 does. Vulkan is just available across more platforms. DX12 got a bad name because Microsoft tried to push it hard on devs partly using the windpws store and as a result some devs just implemented it very poorly.
 
Having said that I Hope DX12 firmly loses the battle to Vulkan. Vulkan has seen good adoption in the Linux ecosystem, hopefully we will see more on windows and of course google stadia means that more devs will get familiar with it.
 
 

Honestly at this point I would hope Sony goes for Vulkan instead of making their own again. There's no reason for any game to ship without both DX12 and Vulkan now. It almost is as simple as use Vulkan get more FPS. DX12 is low level too and if you can implement one you can implement both.
 
DXR is part of DX12, you dont have to choose DXR vs Vulkan. Vulkan has it's own ray tracing API as well, it's really down to DX12 vs Vulkan as a whole

The cost of an individuals salary is irrelevant -- and companies certainly realize that. But, more importantly, just setting prices at the highest price doesn't necessarily maximize profits if the largest market happens to be one that can't afford those prices. Regardless, a move like this is far more likely to hurt poorer regions more than it could potentially benefit a wealthier region.

That's no excuse though.

I've made a resolution. I'm not buying ANY games from Epic Store, especially not those that are exclusives. It doesn't matter what it is or how big of a fan I am of those series. I'm not gonna support bullshit business practices. I despise them so much I doubt I'd even buy Unreal branded game if they released one now. And I used to be a huge fan of the game and its engine for years and years.

PC gaming community since than has grown a lot more than 2.5x, in 2013 the game had a peak player count of like 16k... WOW IT DID AMAZING...NOT. Everyday i meet some idiot on the internet and think wow im sure glad im smarter than 95% of the population. Use your head, you think if they sold any meaninful numbers they wouldnt give us the actual number? Which company do you know gives arbitrary numbers like this? None. They give actual numbers, the only reaosn they didnt is because it didnt sell well. Do you realize how much more expensive this game was to make compared to a 2013 game? Now think for a second that they ALSO more than likely spent 2.5x on the development so their overall margin is a lot less... theres a lot more to this shit than you think, and your memes show how incapable you are of actually putting up an argument instead of crying cuz you bought a shitty game on a shitty platform.
