Klovnious reacted to Doobeedoo in 2560x1440p 240Hz IPS 1ms - Eve Spectrum gaming monitors, featuring LG's panels
How is it useless?! You literally have flexibility with resolution and refresh rate. Many play competitive shooters lower than 1080p so 720p on this would be 1:1 pixel ratio.

Klovnious reacted to Sorenson in EK Water Blocks is getting in the AIO game
I haven’t seen any news on this so I thought I would post it here. EKWB is doing pre-sales on their version of an All in one liquid cooler. https://www.ekwb.com/aio/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=fb-aio_teaser&utm_content=image
As of now there is only a profile view of the AIO which (to my eye) does not have a pump integrated into the water block.

can't help yourself.
No, I am asking you to qualify your claims, if you claim there are so many problems with windows updates or changes breaking systems, then you need to show us how many, you don't get to pretend it is a huge problem without being able to cite any evidence showing that.
Your the one accusing me of posting fallacies, if you can't show me which one is a fallacy then there is nothing to explain. making uo some crap and then trying to project that on me is pointless, most people can see through it.

Klovnious reacted to Ashley MLP Fangirl in Spotify banning ad blockers
1. using an ad blocker on spotify is stupid as hell.
2. they are a private company and have the right to ban you if you use adblock
3. spotify has a paid model called spotify premium. if you don't want ads you can buy that.

Klovnious reacted to dizmo in 6ms vs 1ms for gaming
I wouldn't worry too much about it, as there are many other things you have to take into account, like input lag. The rating you're looking at is very far from a complete picture.
Without looking into some in depth reviews of each monitor, you won't see the full picture.
I'd go with the AOC because unless you're sitting a pretty far distance from it and only using it for gaming, 32" 1080p is going to look like ass.

Klovnious reacted to WMGroomAK in Nine Inch Nails to fight ticket bots by not selling tickets online
Not sure how many on here are fans of NIN, but in an effort to fight the scourge of ticket bots and scalping online sales, Trent Reznor has announced that for the Fall 2018 'Cold and Black and Infinite' tour that there will be no online ticket sales. Tickets are supposed to be sold on the day of the event at a 'first come, first served' basis starting at 8 AM with a sale limit of four tickets per a customer. Given the popularity of NIN and Trent Reznor, I think that this has the potential to be successful for his case, but maybe not so much for other artists. Should be interesting to see if limiting sales to an offline only prevents ticket scalping as badly as online ticket bots allow for...
https://www.engadget.com/2018/05/10/nine-inch-nails-fall-tour-no-online-sales/
My main problem with this is that I would love to travel to see one of his concerts, however, I'm not spending money on a plane ticket for a chance to get a ticket to a concert...
Off Topic a bit, have to admit my favorite album from NIN is probably 'The Fragile'.

Klovnious reacted to Eduard the weeb in SpaceX accidentally put a 900km hole in atmosphere last year
Original Article from Ars Technica- https://arstechnica.com/science/2018/03/spacex-launch-last-year-punched-huge-temporary-hole-in-the-ionosphere/
The article itself is very informative, but anyway whats being said is, Space X last year when the Falcon 9 rocket on Formosat-5 mission launched it launched straight up unstead of to the side because of its light load, so when this happened it ended up punching the temporary hole in the ionosphere grantided this hole is already fixed and should have lasted only 2-3 hours which said in the article is comparable to a magnetic storm, the magnetic storm effects were global, wall the rocket effect is regional.
And I'm gonna leave you off with this quote
