  1. Thank you for all your help, i've just been messing around with different cables, taking out the mixr in the equation and putting it back in, and the loud buzzing i guess noise, not the squeak is gone, and its in the exact same setup as i originally had it. Oh audio you pain in the ass.
  2. Yes it is xlr ill try the other xlr input and then try your idea of adding one piece at a time, and trying to get it as far away from power sources, thank you btw like a lot
  3. Okay so i think the squeaking is something i can deal with cause it gets drowned out but i upped the gain to high so the background noise im hearing would be more clear and this is the result, pay no attention to the clock. poo.mp3
  4. Wow that was fast, thank you! So i tried gain and it seemed to help but it was definitely still there, so i put all volume adjusting, gain, everything down and now i got this awful noise. Untitled 1.mp3
  5. I've just recently discovered it as im getting into voice recording, my setup is pretty simple, At2020->Art Tube MP Studio->Behringer Xenyx 802->Mic in jack. I've done testing of my setup before and have never heard this sound, ive replaced both my mixer board and tube amp, im even running both off of a power conditioner. I still cant figure it out, help please! what is this.mp3
  6. I'm currently running only a 250gb seagate hard drive because i really cant afford much else. Having a 4tb wdred would be beyond amazing.
  7. sadly i dont have one lying around but i live near a frys (if you dont know what that is its basically newegg/ncix/amazon in a store so ill pick one up tomorrow.
  8. it worked before i got the compressor but ive ran everything with out the pc and just hooked it directly to some headphones and i couldnt hear the noise, so i hooked it up to a headphone amp to see if i just didnt have the volume high enough and even on full blast no noise. Im thinking its interference with the power strip i have behind my pc and i might look into getting a new sound card one that had copper isolation.
  9. i have the cable pluged into the back. Alright i have a simple setup because i havent got every part yet, but it goes mic -> interface -> compressor -> computer. And everything is using 1/4 cables except from mic to interface and from compressor to computer is a 1/4 to 1/8 cable.
  10. I just got a new audio compressor i plugged everything in and everything worked but when i hooked it up to my pc its makes this sound. And ive been able to recreate it with out using the compressor but i dont know what would cause this noise, please help. Sound.
  11. https://www.dipyourcar.com/ Is where I bought the spray they sell colors as well not just black. Good pricing and pretty fast shipping took less than a week :)
  12. So I've always thought that the coating one the Razer Blackwidow was rather weird, I've been looking around on the Moding section and found out about Plasti Dip spray coating. So I figured I'd give it a try. Taking the cover off. Finally got the thing off. Didn't want to break it. Package Arrived :) Got 2 for future use. Prepped and ready for paint rubber stuff Forgot to take pictures between coats but here is the last coat. Looks really bad but it smooths out. A day later I reattached the cover :) Hard to see the difference but the feel is amazing. Thanks for the read I might be painting some more things in the future! :)
  13. Jesus, this is awesome. If i win i'd most likely run around screaming with joy for about 72 hours straight. with a minimal ARV's. (hope someone gets that reference)
  14. Alright, so i've been needing to build a home file server because i work on a lot of others computers where i copy a lot of files and such. My budget is about $350 firm. I would like to keep it as small as possible and be very power efficient. Anything advise would be a great help, thanks in advance! :)
