  1. Not sure if this should go in troubleshooting but it does have to do with computer folders. Anyways, I haven't used my PC in a while because my normal cooler broke. So now I got it up and running with a temporary cooler. I also installed a new hard drive. I seperate my steam games by my SSD for favorite games, and other old hard drive for everything else. I opened my computer and all the games on my SSD were deleted! I was about to change my disk letter for this but then I realized that that would mess up stuff and didn't, so that shouldn't have done anything I don't think. But my SSD games are all gone! Idk why and I'm pretty sure all of the files are still there. Here's a picture of part of the folder that doesn't look familiar. I am also able to go into the common folder and select a game and open it, but it doesn't open through steam?
  2. I can't find that, how would I do it?
  3. I've been troubleshooting with a new temporary cooler while I get a replacement for my main one. I keep getting this error message. I can enter the bios, but I don't know how to fix it, all 3 of my fans are connected on the motherboard and only two of them are spinning. The one that isn't spinning I think only spins if it gets too hot, but my CPU is at 50 C right now.
  4. Okay, that's what I was thinking, thanks. Also I figured that out in my last post haha, flipping it right now. Should I have my 140 be on the top of the front or bottom of the front? Thanks!
  5. I've got a 120mm and a 140mm fan, and I'm waiting for an RMA for my normal CPU cooler and 2 fans. So how should I position them in my S340 elite? 140 intake? 120 intake? Should I have my 140 on top, or the front? Only a 120 can fit on the rear, that should be outtake correct? PS - for the photo the two fans on the right are about to be taken out, and the 140 isn't pictured.
  6. Okay, gotcha. Thanks!
  7. So, to be clear, the side that has the grill on it is the outside of the case, so you're saying that the fan will push air to he outside?
  8. Which way does this fan push air? I want it to be an "outtake" (I'm blanking on the word) fan
  9. Okay it seems to be working, I think it's due to me unplugging my fan connector. Now my monitor isn't detecting my DisplayPort, so I'm gonna try switching to HDMI. But other than that, thanks everyone and especially JacobFW!
  10. Ok so I unplugged the thing that connected to the PSU and the two original case fans, I'm gonna try that in a minute. Here's a picture of what's not plugged into anything, but both of these are from the case and shouldn't need to be plugged in, I don't think these have been plugged in for the past 9 months. The USB 2.0 is being occupied by my cooler on my motherboard, and this just allows USB passthrough on the top of my case (which I don't use or need since I have the motherboard USBs) and I think the HDMI is supposed to be used for VR somehow and I don't and never have used that, so it shouldn't need to be plugged in.
  11. I just bought a new coolermaster fan, so that should be working (I also tested it with and without this) I've got two fans that came with the CPU cooler, and the pump is what broke, not the fans so that should be working fine. And then I have the two fans I have with the case, both not screwed in (I've tested with and without both of them, and with just the one that works).
  12. Just plugged in both of my old fans, one of which doesn't work. The working one moved for a second and then turned off just like the Cooler is. The cooler also has 2 fans attached that should be working.
  13. Sorry, I understand I've been incredibly vague. And I quoted everyone because I know some people don't see replys without quotes. Sorry for formatting, I'm on my phone. Anyways, my NZXT Kraken x62 randomly stopped pumping after about 9 months of use. So I took it off my CPU and sent an RMA to NZXT, bput I didn't take any pictures of proof of it not working in their "Cam" software, and that's required I guess. So I reconnected it and now we're here. I feel like I've forgotten everything about building a PC except for the basics in those 9 months. I also disconnected both of my fans, which the picture above shows what they were connected to. I'm trying to connect two new fans, and only have one connected currently. I connected this to my motherboard instead of the part that connects to the power supply. I'm wondering if this being plugged into the power supply (with no exit connection) makes the computer start but then immediately cancel. I don't think it's due to anything but my CPU cooler/CPU, PSU, and I also connected a new HDD, so that too. I haven't really cleaned my PC that much so it could also be dust related. For all I know I could've done something with electricity (blanking on the word). underlined - edited
  14. Could it be because one of things plugged into my PSU isn't plugged into anything else?
