Alright, It's fixed. There was a mix up where I turned it in and I got the employees test CPU home by accident. I've never been this confused in my life lol. Thanks everyone for helping me out.

I bought it about a year ago and I used it on another motherboard which broke down recently, bought a new one and for some reason it says i3.

So I can basically just leave it? It's a pretty old computer and will most likely buy a new one the coming year so It's not like a care a huge amount.

It was an i5 2500k a few days ago in my other motherboard lol

Computer is up and running now after I reinstalled windows. Still the problem with cpu though.
