  1. Thanks for replying! I got the mixer yesterday (ordered Sunday). Not to suggest I didn't take your advice, I wanted it also to be able to have more control on my audio system. I set it up and I no longer have any reverb despite me not having to set anything else up in the room which is great. Thanks for your help and I guess I just got lucky on removing the echo.
  2. I am thinking of the Q802 also. What will I need to make the Q802 in comparison to the USB version? I can get the USB for £65, but I can get the non-USB for £44. Which is better overall?
  3. Hi. I purchased an audio setup around January that consisted of an MXL770 condenser microphone and also a Scarlett Solo interface. I feel pretty unhappy about the entire quality of what audio I produce because I record in my bedroom that has wooden laminated flooring which was not a great or appropriate recording area to.. Well, record in. Of course it has echo and I wanted to reduce that to as little as possible and I thought a mixer would be my best bet in long-term productivity. I thought this because not only do I want it to help improve the echo, but so I can do live effects during recording sessions. I use my audio system to play with friends and record gaming videos with them and I would love the functionality and improvement of video quality that I could adapt from a mixer instead of my interface. The reason why I am posting here is: would buying a mixer help me in the long term for echo from my microphone? Or will I need to buy a large rug or perhaps some padding on my walls to help reduce the noise. I'm not looking for the cheapest option, I would just like to have the flexibility of customising my voice during live-sessions but also have the benefits of making my voice less echo-ey. Sorry if this is a really dumb question. I am not really great in terms of audio-engineering hence why I came to this subforum for help. Thanks. - Fissshie P.S I am thinking of getting the Behringer Q802USB which has the 48V Phantom Power installed. Therefore I could sell my Scarlett on eBay and perhaps get my money back if it does benefit for me. Although I do want to know if it'll benefit me before I do anything like that. Thanks for your help.
  4. You can use Voice software to set up noise gates. There are software such as Voicemeeter to help with this type of stuff.
  5. Thanks for the suggestions and feedback. I had went to my local Curry's/PCWorld to check out their newest selection and came out with a HyperX Cloud Revolver S. Found a spare £20 and managed to buy it for £70 instead of £150. Pretty happy with it
  6. I'll consider it further. Thanks so much for putting your opinion further. (As you can tell I know nothing about headsets, so I appreciate everyone's offer to put their opinion in)
  7. I've considered them too but I thought the Siberia I had linked was a good deal since it was made from Steelseries. Thank you! I've took a liking to the Cloud Stinger though. Thanks for the recommendation, like my other reply I also considered Logitech's lineup, but the recent reviews have given me concern.
  8. Hi. Thankfully I have gotten around £50 from Christmas (Merry Christmas to you all, also) and I am looking for a headset. I have always used no name peripherals and have constantly switched from a pair to another. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a headset within my budget. I have took an eye of this eBay page of SteelSeries' Siberia 200 for £25 refurbished and I am unsure if it's a good deal especially if I'm not sure if it's a good pair of headphones. That's why this thread is here and why I would love a second opinion. Thanks guys and again, merry Christmas Regards, Fish
  9. Makes sense with everything. To tell you the truth I ordered the K66 as RGB isn't exactly needed. It's more cosmetic as always and it just would be nice t--o have it in the end. I didn't know it did not have RGB to be fair, but thought it was a good keyboard for the price so I just snatched it. Haha. I'm going to be mostly gaming and editing, so it's a good pick for the cherry MX switches (red). Thanks for letting me know. I honestly just liked a mechanical keyboard. Something of higher quality. Right now I'm just using a Sumvision Wave so hopefully you can understand it is not the best type of keyboard. Hence the switch! Thanks for the help bro.
  10. Unfortunately there's nowhere around to try/demo them. Thanks for giving your opinion on the matter though.
  11. Hi. I've used budget keyboards all my life and finally decided I want to spend my time on a good mid-ranged keyboard for gaming and other needs. Specifically, I would love one that offers mechanical and RGB use with my budget of £65. I have seen the K66 from Corsair and thought it was definitely worth the money, although I am no keyboard expert and would appreciate advice. https://www.cclonline.com/product/241554/CH-9103000-UK/Keyboards/Corsair-K66-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-with-Cherry-MX-Red-Switches/KBD1574/?utm_source=footer&utm_medium=recently-browsed&utm_campaign=KBD1574 I have seen it retail for £50 cheapest from CCLComputers and would love your opinions or suggestions of what may be the best keyboard for the price. Thanks!
  12. Makes sense. Thanks guys ^^
  13. OK. Sorry for the vague title, didn't exactly know what to call it. I've been looking at GPUs and found out Amazon.com's GPU's are much cheaper than they are on Amazon UK. I was wondering if there would be any extra fees for importing from the US to the UK for this graphics card: https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-GAMING-Support-08G-P4-5173-KR/dp/B01KVZBNY0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1508593113&sr=8-1&keywords=evga+gtx+1070 thanks, Fish
  14. Birthday is right before Black Friday and I am hoping to get a good black Friday sale for 1070. Sold two GPUs just recently and I'm using a GTX680 right now for a month. What can I expect for black Friday drops for BF?
  15. Found out the problem which was AMD's new graphics driver 17.7.2. Downgraded back to 17.7.1 and it works fine. Thanks for the help guys!
