Hello, for the last while I have been having severe issues with suspend and occasional crashes or mouse/kb issues in Fedora 33: When suspending, system will often wake fine, but other times the system will power back up (fans spinning) but there will be no display output or disk IO (according to LED) Occasionally mouse/kb will lag or not work at boot and have to be replugged. When this happens, the KB still works for the GRUB menu during boot Occasionally, when logging in, the system will freeze for a few minutes once password is submitted Yesterday, while using the PC, my video/audio output crashed and I was stuck in the same state I often get stuck in resuming from suspend When the system is stuck in this state, I cannot drop to TTY or even reboot the system via restart button on case, I am forced to force shutdown I do not notice any issues in Win10 (though I barely use it) but I've run this hardware on Arch a lot, and didn't have these issues, though it was awhile ago now. Boot times will sometimes feel slower than normal, but nothing too slow.   4. I am wondering what my fellow coders think the best development environment or solution is for a project that will use Django with MySQL for the data. This will be my first notable project and I want to start with a solution that will make for the least hassle come time to deploy to the web server. My current idea is to Django and MySQL containers with Docker and Compose. Any suggestions are appreciated!
  5. I've heard countless stories like this, especially Canadians. However, I had a good experience here in Ontario. I had the refurb board within less than a week of my board arriving at MSI.
  6. I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, but that's not the case. Even SLI cards would have significant usage.
  7. On Windows I try and keep it fairly clean, with only the few apps I want right at my fingertips to be on the taskbar. Other applications that are used less frequently are pinned to my StartIsBack start menu. Applications are launched by Win + # for taskbar icons, or Win + Arrow (to naviagate) + Enter for the less frequent apps in my start menu. However, I primarily use Linux with i3, so I have a small bar with workspaces and some basic info, and all my applications are either launched via basic key bindings or via the Rofi launcher by typing Win + d. That drives me crazy as well. I basically only keep the few things I'll always have open anyway.

  9. My bad, I thought I saw Mechanical Eagle. I'm aware that Cherry isn't the only (or the best) player in the mechanical switch game, but their switches are good and they're the mainstream high-end switch manufacturer that is most common -- with boards that can be had at affordable prices. They also happen to be the only manufacturer I have first-hand experience with.
  10. I'd add my name to the list for a Corsair model should budget permit. Additionally, it appears you've also linked a Mechanical Eagle (nope, Magic Eagle) board. Now, I do not have any experience with this company (Mechanical Eagle), but the reviews seem promising and the price is certainly more on the affordable side. It's worth noting that the switches they use to save cost seem to basically be Cherry MX knockoffs. Seems that people report the feel is pretty solid though. Switch life could be a concern over Cherry or other high-end switches.

  12. While this is a great machine for the price, and would no doubt fit the gaming needs well, it does not have 2-in-1 capability. Additionally, I don't think it's available with a touchscreen. Size would make it less portable in comparison to the desired 2-in-1 form factor as well.
  13. I'm not fully sure how well it would fit your gaming needs, but I'd probably go for the HP Spectre x360. You can see a good listing of 2-in-1 laptops on a recent TechRadar article.
