  1. So, I tried the "keep my files" option, and when it shows me what programs will be uninstalled, even games/programs from other drives are there. Initially I thought the games that were there were the ones i have on the same SSD, on another partition, but that's not the case. I thought maybe i could create a bootable flash drive and reinstall windows form there, like how you could do with windows 7, because I remember that i could select the partition I wanted to install windows on (I don't know if I can do that on a w10 bootable drive), I don't know if it would work, but even if it would, the windows key I have is a windows 7 one, form before I upgraded to windows 10. Any ideas of what I can do?
  2. I want a clean install of windows 10, from what I've seen i can go to Settings -> Update & Security -> Recovery -> Reset this PC, but does it remove files from all drives/partitions? If so, how can I reset windows on only one partition? I have windows installed on a separate partition on my ssd, and I have a separate hard drive that I don't want to reset.
  3. Vsync is off, and the refresh rate is set to 144hz. I just realized that fps is never under 75, even in the biggest clusterfucks. What's wierd is that sometimes i goes up to ~85 at max when looking at the sky but neever under 75, no matter what. I just don't get why i'm able to run bf4 smoothly and not bf3. I don't think it's a CPU problem, since i have played on this PC before at higher framerates, but with another GPU (Radeon HD 7750)
  4. So, i was wanting to go back and play some Battlefield 3 at 1080p high settings and 144hz, but for some reason i'm always at 75 fps. Doesent matter if I change my quality settings or resolution, its always locked. I play Battlefield 4 at aroud 150 - 180 fps at medium settings, and have the latest nvidia drivers. I don't see a reason for it to be like this, can somebody help me out?
  5. So, i dissasembled my keyboard again and noticed that the transistor that i had bumped into, is actually not that of original image of the post. It's actually approximately 1/12th of the size of the one we though to be the one that i had to replace. If it was going to be a hassle to solder that one on I dont even want to imagine what it would be to solder this one. I guess It would be more of a hassle than not having LED's on my WASD keys. Anyway, thanks for the help.
  6. Are all transistors on the board the same?
  7. So, i'm kinda new to dealing with electronics, sorry for being a pleb I was cleaning the rust off of one of the switches so I could desolder it (that's a whole other problem that i won't go into) and I accidentally bumped into a microchip with the soldering iron and it went flying, now I can't find it. Now the LED's that are supposed to be on on the WASD and arrow keys don't turn on. You can see in the image what kind of microchip that fell off. So i was wondering if that piece is something that i can buy and solder on, or is it a chip that i can't buy separately.
