Not worth it at all, you won't feel any difference what so ever in responsiveness and the higher the SSD capacity the better the driver is... more redundancy cells, more cache available, sometimes even better controllers and so on so picking the single highest capacity SSD is always a better way to go.

Raid0 also doesn't scale performance linearly like that... this video is great on the matter although it's about NVMe:

Insprill got a reaction from Ben17 in Upgrading from a R710 for a Minecraft server
Ok so I currently have a Dell PowerEdge R710 with duel Xeon X5690s and 128gb ram that runs 7 Minecraft servers (yes ik thats alot) I'm looking to upgrade and I'm not 100% sure where to go. I've been think i could buy a R620 i found a few with 128gb ram for $250-$300 and i was thinking i could sell my R710 and a R200 i have laying around and then also sell the CPUs the 620 comes with (and buy a pair of 2667 v2 or 2680v2. As I'm writing this i found a 620 with 192gb ram and 2 2670s for $550, would that be a good deal? Like I'm just not 100% sure where to go, and I'm not tied down to any 1 idea. Any suggestions would be amazing :)

All anti-virus software is trash. Signature-based detection only detects viruses that are roughly one year old or even older, according to a paper by Symantec employees.

If you absolutely refuse to trust yourself, use Windows Defender.

    Windows defender.
Seriously, Windows 10's built-in antivirus is probably all you'll even need. Paired with Ublock Origin which will alert you to sketchy sites, you'll be 100% fine.

Insprill reacted to Ryoku in Which setting is responsible for the render distance in BF1 ?
This is false, The setting Mesh Quality makes your PC render models at greater distances. you can see this when your playing on lower quality and zoom in with a sniper rifle character models you couldn't see will suddenly pop in, but if you have it on ultra you can see them without zoom, this becomes even more noticeable when your flying a jet or Chopper.

I installed the one for 5000 series, (not single port) from that same site, and just reinstalled it again, still nothing. After re-installing i restarted my pc and the link lights flashed a few times, then nothing.

Look for Multimode fiber and short range sfp+ from fs.com. Don't buy first party sfps

The 4948 10GE doesn't use fibre, so you don't need to know much about it.

A normal CAT 6 + cable in one of the 10G uplink ports will do fine.

As for a NIC, the Asus XG C100C is a good choice for not a huge amount of money. You can also fine Intelk X520 cards fairly cheap on eBay.

EDIT: Ignore that, yes it does.

You'd be best off going for MMF SFP+ modules because it's a short run.

Cisco SFP-10G-SR modules should work. Though you can get compatible ones from other brands for cheaper.
