This is true in the workplace as well. I (I'm female) have not been at my most recent job very long and have already moved up quite far in the workplace. Raise, more hours, employee of the month, and better position etc.. I know its not just because I am hardworking and take initiative, but it is also because I'm a women. Women have it easier. I've seen it plenty of times and women don't make it any easier for men. Take my husband for example, it took him a long time to get into the high position he is in right now. Even though he is a hard worker and takes initiative as well. Now if he was a women he would have gotten his position in less than six months with probably a higher pay raise to boot. Women get pay raises faster than men too, its wrong. And why is it that women always get the secretary jobs instead of, lets say, construction and men are expected to do construction instead of secretarial work. Why must men in the food industry be the cooks and women the waitresses? Woman want equal opportunity and equal pay but don't want to do equal work. Frankly, it's BS. Period. Honestly I get infuriated at work when I go to lift something slightly heavy at work and someone yells at me, " Don't lift that you can get blankety blank to do that!", and I'm just like, " I am perfectly capable of picking this up for myself!". But I have to say one of my favorite things to do is show other women up. Like when a chick asks a guy to take some boxes somewhere for her and he starts on one and I just jump in and be like " where do you want this one?" And they usually have this dumfounded appalled look on their face like why are you lifting that that's men's work. For women it's, " help me!". For men it's natural. Same goes for splitting the bill, its considered natural for a guy to have to pay for the date. But if she says " hey lets split the bill" she's considered independent. But if he says the same thing he's cheap. What else is messed up is like, somewhat previously stated before, women are brave when they hit men but men are evil, brutal scumbags if they dare touch a women. Even if that women swung first. Also lets say a girl suddenly kisses a guy, that's romantic right? But oh no, if a guy does it he's a perverted creep that usually gets slapped or at least deeply frowned upon. Or if a girl stares at a dudes crotch that's flirting but gosh no don't stare at the boobs, that's perverted and offensive! Oh and don't accidentally walk into a girls bathroom you'll be a pervert doing that too but if it's a girl hey, it was just an accident. And don't even think about going to the police for any sexual harassment cause they won't take you seriously. Guy to cop, "She assaulted me!", cop- " meh, who cares?" Girl to cop, " he touched me boobs!" Guy gets taken away in handcuffs. Poor guy.. But, Gender Equality right?
