    Sometimes that breathe will mean your internet options advanced tab doesn't have the correct security options configured. Depending on when the router you need you may need to enable additional SSL or TLS settings.

    What kind of laptop is it? The CPU, OS, and battery will all determine how long the battery will last during sleep.

    Pull the fan, pull the battery, let it sit for about 30 seconds, battery back in, try to boot again. Cross your fingers. Never plug in anything where it isn't supposed to be. Component voltages are very specific.
