Operation Wallet-Plunger has been a success.
Bought the 512GB model I mentioned in the previous episode for $880.
Gonna justify the purchase by giving away my previous laptop to a family member. #LifeHacks

That lifehack is my no.1 excuse for any new purchase

M1 MacBook Air is an interesting choice. When my 2019 16" MBP bites the dust, I am heavily leaning toward a 14". I would like a new 16", but those machines are absolutely massive. My 16" can be a burden sometimes, and now with Apple Silicon the performance is the same across both size classes of Pros. Hopefully I won't need to replace this machine for another 2 years at least.

Wanted something relatively new and didn't want to risk getting a laptop with a butteryfly keyboard.

I already had a 13" laptop pouch laying around so I was kinda gravitating towards that size; now I can take my laptop and tablet in a small pouch instead of having to take them in my briefcase.

Amen to that.

RE Previous SU.
Found two M1 MacBook Airs: one with 256GB for about $750 and one with 512GB for about $930. Both have 8GB of RAM and I think both have 8CPU/7GPU cores.
Can't tell if it's too good to be true though, might need to see it in person.
Lord have mercy.

Since buying an iPhone, I've had the urge to move completely (or at least mostly) to Apple products.
Can someone talk me out of it...
-
No, I can't. I sold my buddy my old 2020 13" MacBook Pro a while ago. He has since gotten himself the M1 iPad Air. He is now considering the iPhone 15 since it's going to have USB-C. It's happening man.

RE: previous SU.
Ended up getting an iPhone 11 pro (256GB) with 89% battery health for around $440. Market price over here seems to be around $490.
Would've liked to get the pro max for the screen size ('cause sometimes size does matter), but oh well.

To those who know iphones more than I do, is a used iphone xs max (256gb) with 85% battery health for around US$390 (price converted) a good deal?
-
No, $390 is too high, $290 maybe if its in really good shape.

So, it's Xs-sive if it's above 290 USD max? :3

You should easily be able to get an 11 for that much.
