Yeah. But also the reason why from my crap part of the EU the closest server will probably end up in Hungary. The closest Edge node (if I recall correctly where Stadia will be probably hosted there) for me will be Budapest and best case scenario 15ms so 30 both ways. Which should correspond to a delay of 1 frame at 30 fps 2 frames at 60 fps 4 frames at 120 fps. or double that from some probable real world scenarios This should be more than enough for everything except e-sports needs.

Yeah. Here in Croatia it's 20 USD for 150 down 15 up cable inside building, optics from there or 100/100 or 250/250 for 20-30 per month if you have FTTH. Worse case scenario for most people is around 30-60 down if they have to use DSL. Flat Rate. And my point about this service is that you don't have to buy an Xbox, PS4, Switch or PC.

The stream device itself will work better on ethernet of course. That is a matter of bandwidth. The controller can work on wifi. But connecting it to a default ISP crap of a router. That will not be a great experience probably if streaming also from the same crap router. I mean. We are entering WiFi 6 territory and here from my apartment I'm the only one broadcasting a 5GHz signal. Everyone else is still on 2.4 GHz. I even use the 80 wide band I think because there is literally nothing to screw with my signal hahaha.

Actually. Being a Behemoth like Google (or Microsoft) and failing and canceling service while also buying full games would set an important precedent and out of that we would get a lot of really good pro consumer laws.

I agree. But I hate double standards. I have an Asus Rog Phone 2. So, all I would need is a simple USB-C dongle with ethernet and HDMI and play on a big screen wherever I go with a normal connection. And I can then only pay for one month when I want to play and skip on the other months. (even though the default free plan will also be available for casual gaming). And if someone says you shouldn't need a dongle. Then all the macbooks of this world and most ultra portable PCs should also get a 2/10 mark on their reviews That's what I'm saying about double standards

I'm sick of these "reviews". Expectations from these service are unrealistic. I really wonder how they will go about it considering GDPR in EU. No, you don't need to have IP information for anything other than historical records. So no, for You multiple IPs simply mean that a person has 4 different ISPs at home for all intents and purposes. And for many places with crappy connection people actually use 4G flat rate modems to access the internet so you don't have the distinction between a phone or a land locked ISP and all the ISPs (at least all those with 90%+ of market dominance) offer that service Also. I know many who if they couldn't have account sharing would simply switch to illegal content because no one wants to pay 16€ per month for 4K Netflix access with a seriously run down library. And they watch content (because of that library) as much as a single person would in the US anyway. Not to mention that with CBS-All Access, HBO, Disney, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon... Ain't nobody gonna pay for all that

I'm not hyped about Intel in the Mobile because they will charge over double the premium of AMD probably. But from a performance perspective this is awesome from Intel side because we need as much competition on the lower to mid range as possible.

Except that even one of my 220 USD 32 inch 75Hz MVA 1440P monitors has freesync that works great. It's not freesync 2, not gsync but sure beats the hell out of not having VRR at all. I don't need a gsync compatible sticker that would increase the price of the monitor when more than 90 percent or freesync monitors work just fine. (from reputable brands). And you have reviews to find out if they don't.

1. Prices are expected. They had killer deals for 3 years. No answer from Intel yet price wise and now this is an HEDT process node advantage where at the moment Intel can't compete. So, price hike. 2. Since single core performance is great on Ryzen 2 it will be interesting to see how that humongous cache will play with "normal" workloads. 3. Can't wait to get mine 3950x in December and slot it instead of an overclocked 1700. Funny thing is. On stock it will basically be comparable to 1700 at 3.9

This is all nice and well. But, I'll believe it when I see some concrete actions in mid-term. Why? Because they literally f up with the original Asus Rog Phone so I don't think they deserve a benefit of the doubt until they prove themselves.

I already have an 1700 there clocked at 3.9 on a 120mm AiO. I just don't know if I'll be putting an x42 inside or simply go with the custom looop completely. Though I'm lazy with the 3d printer and don't have enough time to use it for a custom printer pieces for the custom loop (to mount stuff like reservoir and pump) so I'll go 140 probably.

I'm only interested in stock performance. But it's going into Phanteks Shift (the smaller non x model) hehehe

We will see anyway Hehehe. But one thing I'm also quite looking forward to if it becomes true. It's next year 8 Cores per chiplet. If AMD makes the 7nm+ production before Intel goes to a new node and makes it only a bit better IPC wise than current Zen3. There goes the gaming crown. (to those who care)

This is it. This is what I've been waiting for and going soon from a Ryzen 1700 to 3950X without doing anything and just slotting the CPU inside my PC is a tremendous kudos to the AM4 platform. I would say, since I've been using an up-to-date PC from 1995 this has truly been the best platform I have yet encountered as far as upgrade paths go. Top of the line CPU and 2 years (and a half) more than double the performance (2x the core count + meaningful IPC improvements + clock improvements + new process node). And all of that with no extreme OC necessary keeping the power/heat consumption in a normal range. Well. If I had to guess. I think we will see a 16 core part TR. Because the Lanes do matter for some prosumers. And next generation the lowest amount to be re-released will probably be a 24 core.

There are things someone can get a hold off. Of course. But, to make a change on your Google account you will need to re-enter a password and all my Banking stuff has a PIN code I need to enter also. Which is not an inconvenience since I don't look at my bank account 30 times a day.

This is awesome news that it works that well and fast. The point of facial recognition is to unlock when it sees your face. Period- If you are dead, sleeping and/or incapacitated. Someone can also take your fingerprint. The only secure thing you can have is a longer PIN code and/or Password. Sorry. Even if you had a 20 years in the future DNA sequencer to unlock your phone someone could literally bleed you dry and use your blood to do it hehehe I have a Polar V800 watch for years now and it keeps my phone unlocked automatically when I'm near. It's a convenience factor which exists to just make a nuisance for people who would steal your phone and/or find it if you have lost it.

I found it a bit funny that most reviews never focus on price. (I say most since pricing wasn't available during LTT review) My main driving force for buying this phone was that the base 8GB 128GB Model costs 560 USD and the storage capacity (not speed) and RAM capacity are the only difference from the more expensive variants. Yeah. The specced out version is mat .

1. Lenovo and HP don't make CPUs. Their profit margin is whatever they can earn on top of what they need to pay for the parts. In this conversation CPU parts. So no. Mobile market is not a low margin ones for the component makers (GPU, CPU) 2. Since Intel owns an overwhelming majority of the CPU market on Mobile with really healthy margins. It is relevant for the discussion about "margins" since nobody is mentioning system integrators / laptop manufactures in the conversation but CPU makers.

Ergo why I wish a slightly more powerful APU part. Just going 10W more and utilizing 7nm should accomplish that.
