Hi! They surely push them to the limits, but they care about power consumption (obviously and fortunately)... but it might be possible, right?

More voltage, more power draw, more heat, faster engine. Probably yes though, it was kind a silly question!

We might ask tunnelbear for the ECU and cooler master for the chill! I mean, of course it wouldn't be piece of cake, and i admit my ignorances on both gpu/cpu/ram Oc'ing and tesla cars at all. But isn't it much similar the way voltage speeds up a ram than a motor?

Hello! I was wondering... Can a Tesla (driving car, not gpu) be OC'd? Greetings!
  5. That's the point! Nobody talks about 3d modeling (i suggest to have a little look at grasshopper processes, which are very computer consuming sometimes) and hardware relative to that kind of tasks! Toghether with gaming and video editing, LTT would become a complete guide, for ignorants like me, when it comes to decide what to buy and understand what the market has to offer... By the way, i digress... Thank you for the reply!
  6. Thaks for your reply! I'm just building my first pc and i'm planning to get a gtx 1080 and a ryzen 1700. That should be a good combo, right? I know by browsing internet that those are, somehow, the best deal for price/performance. But i'd like to see, other than just videogames, something more dedicated to the case. I'm sure that a dedicated part of ltt towards the specs of hardware for high end 3d modeling would have a great success!
  7. Hello there! I was wondering... If i'm not a gamer but i need horsepower for 3d rendering and parametric modeling, should i rely upon games benchmarks? There are many different tasks which, i'm sure, have a lot in common with games requests but, are they? I'm talking about tasks like grasshopper for rhino ones or kangaroo (like dealing with almost endless cloud of points to mesh)... Could it be possible (by the time that would be, i guess, easy to do) to create a new way of benchmarking builds for us not that much gamers? Thank you in andvance!

Just wanted to thank you guys for the nice work you do in this community! If I, somehow, understand how to turn on a pc it's for ltt! Cheers from italy!
  9. Hello Linus! I follow your youtube channel with much pleasure! I really had no skills at all in understanding computer performances before knowing your videos. I am an architecture student from italy and i am really inside 3d graphics. I saw your video about the new AMD CPUs, which i find very interesting, but as far as I can understand noone really knows the limits of this new products. I wanted to ask You, if possible, if you could try (i'm pretty sure you're already working on it), to overclock the hell out of theese new CPUs. Both with their cooling system and not. Keep up with the good work and thank you very much for your videos! P.s. the shirts are cool for real!
  10. Very, very, very useful information! I have a much more clear idea of what to do! Thank you very much!
  11. Thank you very much! Can you tell me more about software usage? I mainly use: Archicad 20 Rhino 5.0 + grasshopper + vray 2.0 Cinema 4d Photoshop Illustrator Are there any specs that theese software require? Thank you again!
  12. Specific parts are a little easier to understand! Whatever, your message got me to a veey good point of comprhension of the build! Thank you!
  13. Hello there! I have an OS! And i might gather some peripherals around, even the monitor!
