  1. Wasn't external though, was copy pasted from my cloud storage, no idea where the duckduckgo came from lol Anything against me deleting and reposting with active images?
  2. Did images break when you moved it, or is that just me?
  3. There it is, I did the thing, got the physical copy. I bought a license on Black Friday a while back for $10, recently decided to make a tech shadowbox and reached out to support, they sent me a physical copy for another $10. However, I'm honestly surprised it made its way to me given the formatting of the shipping label. There was also no sleeve, it was bare disk inside the envelope! I'm an Admin of IT Humor and Memes so I posted it for laughs, where I was met with a barrage of issues on the label. -Was shipped from Germany, but is listed with Sweden Post. -Sweden return address, not Germany -From address isn't complete -Posten logo hasn't been used since late 00s, company has been rebranded -Value listed at $5 (was $16.59 CAD with tax and conversion) -Not my order number -Nonexistant tracking number -Commercial Sample -Listed their phone number, not mine -Declaration header cut off -Country of Origin listed as United States -No senders signature It's clear whatever label maker software they're using is as old as the physical CD deliveries themselves seems about the age from when they switched from floppy delivery to CD. Absolutely love it and all its flaws. I'll cherish it for the rest of my life! Inb4 "JUST USE 7zip!!" comments I'm a Freelance IT and had a client who insisted on sending .rar files password encrypted with AES256 , which Windows and .7zip can't handle (they use the ZipCrypto encryption methods) , figured I might as well get a paid copy and expense it. I know there are other free options, but I've been using WinRAR trial for over half my life so I figured I'd toss them some $$ since I'm in a decent place financially.
  4. Good, that game is trash anyway, perfect excuse to not play it lol
  5. Some have had luck with a USB-C to Ethernet adapter to brute force internet connectivity to a device. I've never had to do it but it's worth a shot. Once connected you should be able to remote wipe it with FindMy
  6. Protip: It's bad practice on the LTT forum to mark your own reply as the answer when someone provided that answer.
  7. Hire a local IT firm to do it, they'll likely even offer to host an off-site backup incase your backup gets corrupted/damaged/missing . Also takes any/all liability off of you and ensures it gets done properly
  8. I've got 4 monitors so I've got a powerbar connected to a smart-plug and just tell my GoogleHome to turn on/off the monitors. Smartplugs can be purchased for $10 if you want to toss automation at this problem.
  9. One Watt equates to 3.41 BTUs per hour Knowing that, use a Killawat or similar device to figure out your draw in the server room. 1200w of constant draw would require a 4092 BTU aircon to compensate etc, you want to just over double prevision since the space itself needs to be cooled and a number of other inefficiencies, that so for 1200w you'd want around 10k btu. Shop based on your server rooms needs if expansion isn't planned.
  10. Don't connect the USB to the monitor, connect it to your PC. Then go into the BIOS and turn off "always on USB" so the USB power will shut off when your PC enters sleep.
  11. Try a BIOS update if it's stable enough to stick around the BIOS for a couple hours
  12. Download MSI Afterburner if you don't already have it, set fan percentage manually or create a curve
  13. Can confirm, my Ryzen 5 3600 bottlenecked the hell out of my RTX 3080, ended up with only a few frames over my old 2080 Super. Upgraded to a 7800x and my frametimes improved significantly and FPS went up about 5-7%.
  14. Sir it's a laptop, also warranty tells me to take a hike because it was bought at Bestbuy. It was bought for me as a Gift so Bestbuy told me to get the receipt or kick dirt.
  15. Did that already Unnecessary since the BIOS I'd be flashing in would be the same as the one I flashed during updating. Not likely to work.
  16. They won't even let me connect to chat support ;-; This is comical at this point lol https://i.imgur.com/0owasiB.mp4
  17. Was worth a shot, entered my serial number aaaaaaaaaaand... they don't even provide support to stuff sold at Bestbuy smh
  18. The reflash should've/would've solved that, if I did an RMA they'd likely just reflash, find it still has the issue, then say my device is out of production so there's nothing they can do
  19. Not sure, the hardware monitors all return proper RPM for the fans as they ramp, the software side just refuses to acknowledge it's creeping upwards
