  1. Bless! This is a life saver! Thank you so much!
  2. The 120hz are important. I play shooters with keyboard and mouse on the PS5 and I'd like to have it if I can. That's why I asked this question.
  3. Hello, I'm looking for a flat 31,5/32 inch (or even bigger if my wanted specs fit lol) monitor with 120hz which is available in Germany or anywhere close to Germany but honestly, just anywhere is already a start. The monitor being flat, not curved and having at least 120hz is very important because I want to game in my bed on my PS5. I see 4K ones but they get really pricy. If getting one from a different country or even overseas is as expensive as a 4K 120hz one, then I might have to bite the sour apple here... I saw the ASUS TUF Gaming VG32AQA1A but I don't think 320€ is a good price. Or maybe it is? It's the only one I saw so maybe it is a good price. Curved 2K panels with 144hz on 27 inches go for 180€ - 220€. So 320€ just for 170hz and 32 inches seem like a ripoff to me. Or maybe someone can share their experience with a curved screen in bed? Preferable having tried it with a partner. If I lay on my bed alone then it's probably fine but next to each other and being offset to the screen? I'm not sure. I've never been into curved screen either way. Thanks in advance!
  4. I expected KFA2 to give me the fix via the bios they sent me because I stated that the fans still turn on occasionally. So I expect them to be able to do it. Back then with the 10 series cards this seemed a feature for almost every brand, which is why I thought this would be the case for newer cards as well.
  5. Yeah that's what I thought. Sigh.. it's a bit sad. I'd be running them all the time but they are just too loud. In my old post they were even on 1700 RPM. Either way, I might just have to wait till I need a new card. I'll know better next time. I thank all of your for at least looking into it!
  6. But that's not really the point here. I want it to be silent when I'm not gaming. Just have a video on speaker when I come out of the shower or when my head hurts or other reasons. Headsets can be heavy. And I don't feel like having the fan ramping up occasionally when it SHOULD turn off completely when I set a curve, like it has been with all of my other cards. Also, how am I supposed to replace my graphic cards fans? Or swap the cooler? I mean by all means, if there is a video for the KFA2 card I have, I'd be happy to do it.
  7. Heyoo, I didn't find this but probably because I don't know how to precisely search so I apologize in advance. I've had a post open about this but it turns out it did not fully fix this problem here. I have a KFA2 GeForce RTX 3080 SG-1 click OC LHR and it's fans never fully stop. They turn on for a few minutes every so often despite setting a curve in their Xtreme Tuner Plus software. I tried Palit's software too since that one worked for my old Palit card. And lastly I used Afterburner. None of these did anything. I'd even say the card doesn't respond to my curves at all most times. Setting it to a set speed however, works fine. This would be fine if the card would be over 60°C for those times but it's not. Most of the times my idle temps are around 40°C. Let it be 50°C occasionally. So my questions... Is there any way to fix this? Why is it doing this? And can I somehow make the card respond to any software better? What I tried -Clean install of Xtreme Tuner Plus -Tried different GPU softwares -Clean windows install (Win11) -Contacted support (KFA2) about it. They gave me a bios for my card but it didn't change anything sadly. -Checked connectors (PCIe and fans) -Checked the instructions and manual Other things I just want to say but may not be important All of this would be fine if the fans wouldn't be so loud. They ramp up to 1400 RPM every time and yes, I know, these card's fans are small... like tiny.. but it was one of the cheaper ones I was able to afford. Lesson learned though. Maybe doing the bios update was a mistake? This literally happens no matter what I do. I can let the PC idle for hours and not touch it and it will still turn the fans on occasionally. I thought about water cooling but I couldn't find a fitting block. Which makes sense. KFA2 isn't exactly known for that nor are they popular enough. Or maybe I'm wrong and someone correct me on that please. Can it be controlled by the voltage going through it instead? Or just the general power draw? I doubt that though. Don't they all have temperature sensors..? Anyway.. Maybe I'm just missing something. I thank all of you in advance.
  8. Thank you for the reply! I never touched my CPU for any overclocking because of those stability issues. So no worries there. I updated the bios to the newest version I could find, which sadly didn't help. In the end I just replaced my RAM which fixed it. Turns out the G.Skill Aegis ones I got have reviews with similar issues where people are experiencing crashes and BSODs fairly frequently. Sad about that is, the Corsair Vengeance RAM with the same specs and timings was 16€ cheaper and they work flawlessly so far. I really thought that the 750W power supply would not be enough but from what I've looked up and experienced it seems to be just fine even when stressing both CPU and GPU at the same time, which is never a realistic gaming load either.
  9. I've seen several posts here about this but none really seem to match with my issue although it seems like they are all the same and with what I tried to fix it so far. I'm running 2x16GB G.Skill Aegis DDR4 3200Mhz CL16 Gigabyte Z690 UD DDR4 i7 12700KF (More components on my profile I guess) Anyway, I've been experiencing BSODs. They happen most frequent while switching games or changing uhm... let's call it "scenes"? So for example, I've been running Assassins Creed Origins for a few minutes to test around and get my settings going to play. I did the internal games benchmark and at about the end, my PC shut off with that memory BSOD. Sometimes it would shut off just by closing certain games like Elden Ring, changing from the games black screen when closing it going into the desktop. It freezes right after coming back from that black screen and shuts off with the BSOD. I also got Witcher with raytracing running and overall stressed the system this way for a few hours. The weird thing is, stressing the system with Furmark and the stress option in CPU-Z at the same time didn't seem to make it crash. However, I know it doesn't stress the memory much as far as I know. (Speaking of, is there a memory stress test?) -I tried switching the 2 channels on my Mainboard. So instead of the 2nd and 4th, I tried the 1st and 3rd. -Enabled and disabled XMP 2.0 -Reinstalled Windows 11 -Ran the memtest86 thing (longest test available) -Also ran the windows internal memory test All sadly without success for info or any errors that showed up anywhere while testing. Here are the codes from the BSOD (the extracted txt. file): ================================================== Dump File : 040823-6515-01.dmp Crash Time : 08/04/2023 02:14:38 Bug Check String : MEMORY_MANAGEMENT Bug Check Code : 0x0000001a Parameter 1 : 00000000`00000403 Parameter 2 : ffffab00`f6535458 Parameter 3 : 81000005`dc78f867 Parameter 4 : ffffab00`f5d09b88 Caused By Driver : ntoskrnl.exe Caused By Address : ntoskrnl.exe+4292a0 File Description : NT Kernel & System Product Name : Microsoft® Windows® Operating System Company : Microsoft Corporation File Version : 10.0.22621.1485 (WinBuild.160101.0800) Processor : x64 Crash Address : ntoskrnl.exe+4292a0 Stack Address 1 : Stack Address 2 : Stack Address 3 : Computer Name : Full Path : C:\Windows\Minidump\040823-6515-01.dmp Processors Count : 20 Major Version : 15 Minor Version : 22621 Dump File Size : 890.735 Dump File Time : 08/04/2023 02:14:58 ================================================== Here is a screenshot of the most recent one: Any help is appreciated! I'm going back and forth with this issue and it's driving me crazy. As a last resort, I'm posting this here and have ordered new ram to see if the issue still persists with other brands. Thanks in advance!!!
  10. This fixed it! Oh my god, I'm so glad I don't have to send this one back too. Thank you so so so much!!! oijfdgh For anyone wondering, what I did now was simply launching the file in the google drive link on my PC. It opens the windows console, updates your GPU firmware and restarts your PC. That's it!
  11. Yeah, even when I put the fan speed to 0% till 60°C it still turns the fans on on 30°C. Not only that. It also goes directly to at least 1300 RPM which isn't exactly silent for idling...
  12. Heyooo I bought a KFA2 3080 and I can't adjust the fan curves. Or at least... I can partly... The fans are going on when idling in 30°C +- give or take and I can't change that. The card is fairly loud even on 30% fan speed, which is also the speed it starts with on 30°C. It seems to be locked to a 3 point mode which has 30%, 50% and another fan speed I'm not aware of yet. I tried MSI Afterburner, KFA's Xtreme software, Palit's ThunderMaster, EVGA's precision software and no matter what I'd change in the settings, it won't stop turning on on 30°C. I also made a clean installation of my Nvidia drivers. Maybe I'm missing something or that's simply now a thing with KFA cards? I don't know. If someone knows a fix to this, please let me know
  13. Hey, i started playing Worms W.M.D with some friends and we used the Windows 10 version of the game that was in the game pass. Well, turns out i can't reach over 30fps at all when the game is in focus. When the game is not in focus it reaches 100fps and more. I updated all drivers related to hardware, reinstalled the game, tried every resolution with 60, 120 and 144hz, vsync on and off, various other graphical options. Enabled and disabled the game bar and my shadowplay game capture... discord open or closed (with gpu assisting and without).. idk what else i can do. I run a system with a i7 7700, GTX 1070, 2x8gb ram at 2400mhz. My friend runs a i7 6700K, GTX 1060 6gb and the same ram specs and his games runs just fine after he basically did everything i have mentioned. Yes, this applies for the most situations while being ingame. Menu is fine tho. This would not be so frustrating if the Xbox servers could connect to steam players cuz the steam version runs just fine on my pc. Thx for nothing Microsoft.
  14. Ok small update. I bought the 4 way in and 1 way out device and it doesn't seem to be a real 4 way in thing. The third source is humming and summing like when you touch the end of an audio jack from loud speakers if you know what i mean. I need a 2 way in device anyway so i tried using the method with the blue jack in port on my pc but it only changes the soure on what my pc gives out to be that what i plugged into the blue jack. I know i can change that in windows for when i plug it in the microphone jack but that always created stupid noises too. So how do i set it up in windows, @sub68?
  15. That's gonna be difficult in my home. I'll try to do that when i get a chance. Thank you so far.
