Hello, about to build a new computer based on a AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X and i was thinking to use an Enermax LIQTECH TR4 II for cooling the monster as my NZXT x62 doesn't cover all the processor dye and is already 3 years old... But it seem Enermax had a real problem about "something Growing" inside their LIQTECH series ... Does any of you using one of their product ? Any clue about that Growing problem Thanks

yes, i tested with a ryzen 7 and 9 and had no problems. With a ryzen 3 1200, no problem. But with the ryzen 3 2200G, i hit the bug... as microsoft say: "certain versions of AMD RAID drivers" for the first bug, but also certain type of ryzen 3 specificaly... but now, i finally fix it.

OK, fix done. First, had to slipstream to previous w10 iso with the latest amd drivres from x399 amd. Seem my first try was bad. I succeed installing and running for a few times, until i had so many memory management error i had to run deep to understant the 0x message. It was a 1 bit corruption. Very weird. So after several hours, i decided to switch my corsair LPX to a Gskill memory. Suddenly, system stable and running. Run a x86 mem on the LPX,. Find several bad blocks. Long time i had a bad stick, shit happens. RMA... Honestly, after all this, there is one point i dont like in AMD based system: the drivers distro; It's a EXE distro. The Intel based are 99% inf distro. This is really a difference when troubleshoot is needed ! Thank to all who participate

Tried to apply all the tricks on bios too, like usb lagacy support, enabling csm, no hardware tpm ..... Hello, I am trying to install w10 on 2 new set of hardware. Set 1 is a ASrock X370M-pro4 motherboard, with a Ryzen 3 2200G APU. Set 2 is a Gigabyte B450M-DS3H also with a Ryzen 3 2200G APU. Using the windows media creator tool, i have a USB stick witch i am trying to use to install windows on those rigs. I tested the stick , of courxe. On BOTH set, after booting from the UBD-ESD stick, almost immadiately after the w10 logo, i have the following error : Your PC needs to be repair.... The operating system could be load beacsuse of critical system drivers ... Error code 0xc0000221 The install process did not even start. digging up this thread almost 18 month later. I am almost still happy but run in a problem last month. My rig stop working suddenly, no more post. Ligth on, but blank screen, no beep, no nothing. When disabling XMP profile, my system POST correctly. Some voltage issue: Two posibilities, CPU or memory. After some manipulation, i found out some of my memory went bad. My bank three for my "G.Skill 4096 MB (DDR4-2137) - XMP 2.0 - P/N: F4-3866C18-4GTZ" I was thinking to buy another kit of the same brand model but turn out i need a little bit more memory, and also the F4-3866C18-4GTZ is no longer in production, plus is not listed on the QVL list. As the motherboard seem ok, i switched to [Trident Z RGB] F4-3600C16Q2-64GTZR Now, everythings works fine again.

Living in europe, with a 1GB symetric FTTH link, i feel the floatplanes severs slow, long to start ... after the 10-15 secondes waits, everithing fine, most of the time....

Unfortunately, yes. This is Orange, contract called jet fiber, supposed to be a 300/200 for 49 euros. But in France, there is also a provider called FREE witch is selling another FTTH for 29.99 euros with no restriction. 1Gbs/gbs ... Hope to switch soon ...

The Tablet hardware is: MediaTek MT8163A witch gets full Android 8 support ( https://www.mediatek.com/news-events/press-releases/mediatek-socs-are-optimized-and-ready-for-android-oreo-go-edition ) ARM MALI T720-MP2 Android 8 support ( https://developer.arm.com/products/software/mali-drivers ) My question is why Android 7 was choosen for such a brand new hardware ? It is like Boing or Airbus are going back to propellers for the 2018 airplanes ... or microsoft installing windows 3.11 on their hardware instead of windows 10 ( witch, in that case might be better after all ). This would be a nice video subject for Linus team !
