I know its been a while sorry for that.
 
Updates
- The GTX 295 works (on its own without any other card in the system)
- The ATI HD 5970 has arrived and been cleaned
 
What's gone wrong?
- turns out that if you install Nvidia drives in the wrong order it can brick you're windows install.
- i didn't learn this lesson the first time, or the second time, and i mucked up the third time. (i did it right fourth time)
 
Have you got it working yet?
- no
 
Why?, i thought you just said you got the drivers installed right on the fourth time.
- this is an unfortunate story. I was out for a ride on my Yamaha, and developed a puncture in the rear tyre, this lead to a small crash. now i had to be taken to hospital, survey say's i'm fine, I've escaped with only some mild bruising. there is some good news, being in Britain i don't have to pay for my health care (YAY NHS when it works). however getting to the important part this project (the meme machine) is a somewhat expensive and time intensive project and my free time and money is more focused on getting my bike back to a fully working state. however i will keep working on the meme machine in the background.

- updates and other things are going to be thin on the ground sorry.
- however this is not the end of this project!!!

This is the start of a long term project, (it might take me two years or so).
So what am I doing?
- I am building a machine with 27 separate gpu's (I am counting my on board graphics as 1) all running on 1 PC ( 1 CPU and 1 MOBO).
How on earth do I intend to do that?
- Its surprisingly easy with a Asus B250 Mining Expert i can fit 13 graphics cars as long as i mix AMD and Nvidia.
13 card + 1 IGPU is 14 not 27 Right?
- Ah yes my friend, but i am not putting normal cards in this nightmare, or even vaguely new cards no i intend to go to a lang long forsaken by our corporate overlords, The Dual GPU Card.
13 Dual GPU Cards !?
- Yep.
Really !!??? 
- Yes Sir.
But Why on earth would I do that !!!!???
- Because I don't think any one else has, Because i think it will be funny to work with, Because the MOBO was bought from a friend stupid cheap and finally because i like collecting old hardware especially Dual GPU cards.
So how does the build look right now?
- bit are on order currently 
 
Specs as of 19/02/2020
- i3-7350k
- Asus B250 Mining Expert
- Cooler master Hyper 212 evo
- 8gb Crucial Ballistic sport 2666mhz
- PNY 240gb ssd
- Tosiba 3tb HDD
- Corsair RMi 1000 (this is only the first power supply more will come)
- Thermaltake Core p3 (until there are too many cards and power supplys to fit, then i will build something custom)
 
Graphics cards so far
- Nvidia GTX295
 
 
Disclaimers
- Yes i know its stupid and probably a wastes of money
- Yes i know it will suck in games 
- Yes i know it won't be particularly good for anything else
- If your new to custom PC's this is pretty much the opposite of the right way to do things

If you know of any cards with more that 2 gpu's i am definitely interested. (excluding ancient Voodoo stuff)

in the next week we will have a gtx 295 and a gtx 690 both arriving.
 
and 
we will have the RAM, heat sink, storage, psu and case all ariving before 6pm GMT

found a better priced one over here, sightly more expensive but much cheaper shipping and no import tax so nearly 40$ less over all.
