  1. I found these two, one had a review for the 400W variant http://www.vatanbilgisayar.com/fsp-hexa-500-serisi-500w-guc-kaynagi.html http://www.vatanbilgisayar.com/fsp-hyper-500-serisi-500w-guc-kaynagi.html FSP tends to be pretty decent for the price from what I read online. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=341 Here's a Cosair unit. http://www.vatanbilgisayar.com/corsair-builder-vs-serisi-80plus-450w-guc-kaynagi.html
  2. Mind you I think OP should go 2700. No need to be so aggressive, facts are facts Intel currently does have better performance in most games. However, that being said the value proposition with AMD is real; the performance is pretty close and unless you're trying to drive a 200Hz display it probably won't matter, especially in places with higher part prices the savings is significant, Intel's behavior is becoming ridiculous, as I originally said, and this is my opinion that's purely anecdotal AMD will have support for future features on Ryzen longer than Intel will for 8th-gen.
  3. Judging from the way Intel as pointlessly behaved regarding 7th and 8th gen cross-compatibility (see Linus' video on the new Optane feature) I'd say if you're interested in long term support I'd lean towards the 2700, no point in the X if you don't mind mildly overclocking.
  4. So, I don't have any direct recommendations since I don't know the precise models available to you. What I'd recommend is to check www.jonnyguru.com for any models that interest you as they do very thorough testing.
  5. I have a couple of ideas, however I'm uncertain how big they'd impact fps. 1. Did you place your RAM in right slots for dual channel mode? 2. I know you have a 212, but is your 8700K slowing down to avoid thermal limits? 3. With that AsRock Mobo (I have the Z270 version) did you enable ssd mode in your bios?
  6. Yeah, look at my first thread, I apparently had a RX470 that'd only work on one PC for some reason
  7. That's a good decision, cause I've had an i5 6400 be out performed by an A10-7870k in photoshop (CC 2017) all because the i5 machine's hard drive was pegged at 100% Check this PSU out you're only using 150 watts without an OC. Also have you thrown your PC into partpicker for a quick check on prices, I'm only asking cause all your links point to amazon?
  8. Might consider a 1600 if you want some more cores, or a 1400 and add a small OC if you want to save a couple more euros.
  9. This is purely anecdotal, but I'd highly recommend a different PSU, I have one of those in my little brother's PC and I find it to be on the louder side for a budget PSU. You do need the DDR4 for Ryzen as others said, also with an APU the faster the RAM the better. My old A10 suffered on slower RAM. If your going to get a aftermarket cooler, go for the hyper 212 evo. If a warranty isn't a deal breaker for you, and you don't mind having older hardware pick up an old Dell pre-built with an i5 in it and add a SSD, GPU, and maybe a PSU.
  10. Chromebooks actually have some very compelling models with the Samsung Chromebook Plus and the HP Chromebook X2. As a personal anecdote, I use mine (Some random Lenovo one I paid $80 new for) as a reliable and lightweight secondary computer that I keep in my bag for class, and they are great for that as my campus uses googles services anyways. They exist to be a basic computer for people that use google's eco-system of tools, that being said it's a secondary computer for anyone that regularly needs to run windows applications. Also I got my mom one since all she does on a computer is web browses anyways. Yes, if the windows PC is in the same price range, typically the chromebook will annihilate it in web browsing experience and battery life, and modern chromebooks have android app support so that's a nice bonus. My personal belief to the real reason most tech enthusiast hate them is pretty simple, they suffer from the "anything that's not an i9 OC'd to 6GHz with Titan Vs in quad SLI in an unusable POS" mindset. Some side notes I didn't know where to include: At least the model I have has partial metal construction for I think it was $110 MSRP! Also something I rarely see mentioned is I've never used a chromebook with a trackpad anywhere near as bad as a Synaptics one, most of the ones I've used are actually pretty decent. TLDR: Chromebooks are amazing devices IF you understand what you're giving up for the snappier experience over a comparably priced Windows machine.
  11. Final update: Oddly enough my GPU was issue, while it works fine in my old PC it causes the mentioned freezes (I think iGPU freeze was just unlucky coincidence) Since I installed my friend's 970 after he was nice enough to come into to town with his PC to help me resolve the issue and the PC ran fine. I now have a GTX 1060 and the only issue I've had were caused by me playing with GeForce Experience. Out of curiosity we installed the the 470 into his computer which caused a lot of BSODs I don't have the codes however. So the RX470 only works with my A10-7870K at this point in time. @LeapFrogMasterRace @Enderman
  12. @LeapFrogMasterRace It stays between 28C-50C and has been confirmed to run fine in my old computer
  13. @LeapFrogMasterRace I've ran with and without XMP on the i7 and i3 and it even happen with the i3-6100 under a 360 AIO idling at 26C and under load 44C with room being around 20.5C ambient
  14. Looks like I got my hopes up too soon, still crashing.
  15. @Enderman Just thought I'd give a status update issue was solved after I changed the CPU to an i3-6100 since I'm in the process of RMA'ing the i7 since it was now the only part not replaced with issue still occurring. Also I tested to see what would happen with the GPU and iGPU enabled and when the freeze would occur the iGPU quit outputting a signal. <-- issue re-appeared
