Hi, I was able to switch my old laptops hdd to a ssd ans it is working extremely well now. However when I play like games and stuff the cpu goes up to 80-100 C. I have opened the laptop completely and cleaned out the dust, but I am thinking if I should change the thermal paste or something? On average use it is at 50-60C Is everyrhing okay or should I do something? (The laptop is not for gaming, mainly study use but I would be happy if CPU temp never went above 80) here are some pictures. I really appreciate all help, thank you.

Hi, my motherboard is kinda skinny (small). Is there a way I can buy like a cable or something so I can have more ram on it? I am planning on using it to host a minecraft server and it's just terrible with 8gb ddr3 ram, it can barely handle a thing.... It would be amazing if it is possible. What do you think ?

The cooling paste which was pre applied was dried like you said LOL. The thing is I excluded this as a reason to fault because my friend said the cpu was hot just as it is...

I'm going to change the thermal paste right now. I am using the original pre applied thermal paste from the stock cooler. And the guy I bought the cooler from have had it for years. So I'l change and we will see.

Hey, my i7 4790 goes upp to 90-100C everytime I play games or something. Even if the cpu load is 30% still.... it goes up high. And I don't know why this occurs.. I am using a stock cooler but I don't thin the cooler is the issue. On average use the cpu is 40-50C If I were to delid it with some really good and cool material, would it bring it down with 20-30C ? If I delid it will be my first time ever and I think I'm gonna use a knife instead of delidding tool.. Feels safer.

How much could I get for all of it ?

IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I TRIED STARTING WITH A GPU AND IT WORKED!!! APPARENTLY THE CPU GRAPHICS DRIVER WAS FAULTY! For now it works. I hope it maintans like this.

I tried using a gyx 1060 6gb now to see if it works. So you think win8 will be more compatible and solventhe issue?

Maybe windows 10 pro is to much to handle??
