TMH52 reacted to KirbyTech in Webmin not loading right
I figure I could get it but instead went for the remote access into my desktop and just open webmin that way. I have no interest in dicking around with it today, I'm more concerned about my 15 mb/s transfer speeds to a raid 1 array that the same drive in a different OS a few days ago were doing 100 mb/s +
Webmin will get fixed in time and I'm sure your idea will help but for now that has to sit on the back burner. Good idea though btw, didn't think of URL rewriting.

I figured it out sorta, all actions happen with the data sent to port 10000 and I was accessing it on port 80 (reverse proxy) so the data was not sending. I found how to change the port but port 80 would not work so I gave up and have resorted to just using webmin locally (internal network) instead of using a webmin.domainname.com

So.... I'm not going to be able to compete with the OP. All of this gear is off the shelf and excluding cabling the network itself (i.e. routers, APs, switches etc) is only ~$500 worth of gear. Maybe a bit more, I don't exactly keep track. Anyways, here's mine. I'm pretty happy with it and I thought this thread needed something a bit simpler
A bit of a guide to reading it....
- Each box is a separate room
- Solid lines are Ethernet, fine dotted lines are powerline and dashed lines are wireless
- The thickest solid lines are 1Gbps links, the other lines are 100Mbps
- NAS is a consumer grade 2 bay NAS, the two Sonos speakers are Play 1s
- 8Mbps Internet..... because Australia

Yup, sure does. It's a shame you can only really order from the services that are available. Short of using 4G and paying through the nose for data, paying double for a second line and a load balancing router or moving to an area with FTTH about 20km away I'm kinda stuck with it.

Share permissions are only set for the share it self, not the folder. e.g. as soon as a user is authenticated NTFS permissions takes over. Normally Shares are simply shared with Everyone Full permissions and then usage and access is then controlled by NTFS permissions.
