Hello all! I'm curious about which graphics card to grab. The 980 ti is from a friend that upgraded to a 1080 ti, and is currently letting me use it (due to the crypto/graphics card price hike, I haven't bought my own yet). The performance seems to be good for the games I've played thus far, but I'm wondering a couple of things. He says that he is willing to sell the card to me, but I haven't received a price for it yet. What price would be a good selling point for me to purchase the card? Also, if I were to forego the 980 ti in favor of the 1080, what price should I look for to justify buying it over my friend's 980 ti? I'm not planning on stopping playing games, so I guess I'm stuck in the "buy one because it does what you want it to, or buy one because it will do what you want for a longer period of time into the future" argument.

Hello all. I just built my first PC last weekend. Up until Monday night, it was working fine. Now, it doesn't seem to be able to go for more than a few minutes without freezing. I will hold the power button until it powers down, and power it back up after a few seconds. It seems to get to POST every so often, otherwise, I don't even get that far. In that few minutes, I can use the computer normally, then my mouse will freeze up. Most times, I'm able to make the Caps Lock light turn on/off on my keyboard. I was able to wipe the drives and put windows back on at one poibt. Any ideas?

So stick with the 1070 and go for the 1700 then?

If I did a 120mm AIO instead, I could use some of the recouped funds to get the 1600X. Do you have a suggestion? I've seen people either love or hate Corsair, so I figured I'd ask

I'd probably be playing at 100HZ or so. For the 1600, If I'm looking to get a good overclock, should I go with a 240mm AIO, or would that be overkill for the 1600?

As it stands, it would either be the 1600 and the 1070/1080<--(I'd have to see how hard the 1600 bottlenecks the 1080, as I would be playing at 1080p) or the Ryzen 7 1700 and a 1070/ Thoughts?

This'll be a quick one. Is the Ryzen 5 1600 considered a good pairing with the GTX 1070, or should I step up/down another level on either? I've been told that the CPU should typically cost half of the GPU, and I wanted to see if that was the case here as well.

Does the Fractal cooler come with an AM4 bracket, or is it something I'll have to contact them for?
