  1. Exactly our point! Because DevOps and CI/CD are such buzzwords, everything is ci/cd... You know how to branch in git - DevOps engineer. You know how to do git push and git clone - CI/CD expert. We aim to fix that, we are going to provide you with a simple to use, friendly platform that will manage your: - databases - backend services - frontend - security - monitoring - budgets All of that while hiding nothing, it will all run in your cloud, with your code, so even if you decide this is not for you, you simply disconnect and everything is still yours, no need to migrate or export import... (All the examples about devops were written in exaggeration and have no disrespect to anyone)
  2. Thanks for your input! Will take that into account!
  3. Thank you so much for your input! Yes, we are currently working on a product / platform, and would love to have some "from the field" testemonies that would support / counter our product need.
  4. Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like you are already setup with some solid pipelines and an existing environment, our product is aimed more for newer projects, like those who worked on some platform like railway.app, and now want to move to their own cloud, but dont have the time / resources to do it the right way... But our goal is different from railway's, we want to give you all the tools to manage your own cloud, not host it for you...
  5. Basically yes, but much more, our goal is to have you only provide access to the git repo where your code is, and we will take care of the rest
  6. Unless i am miss understanding, but it sounds like you have two seperate issues at hand: 1. Your new memory isnt registered (i would check the vendor manual to see if this setup ia supported and at what speeds and volts. If you have a strong gpu but not very strong (so like something running with up to 1 8 pin) you might be power limited... 2. The dhcp sounds like during the memory replacemnt and troubleshooting your boot order changed, i will have a look at that, or even check if your cmos battery is ok. A good way to do it the quick and dirty is to: A. Change something arbitarry in the bios and save it of cource. B. Power off and unplug the pc. C. Hold down the power button for about 5 - 15 seconds D. Count to 10 and plug it back in E. If your cmos is dead you will see your setting gone.. Hope this helped
  7. Greetings, Me and my partners are in the work to build a platform that will allow developers and programmers "skip the queue" so to say regarding deployment and maintenance of self developed services in the cloud. Basically we are working on a portal at first, that will allow you simply inatruct our platform what backend engine / language you use, and we wil ldeploy the service into your environment. Would love to hear some of your input: 1. How long does it usually takes you to deploy a service 2. How big is your devops team (if any) 3. What are the major "sore points" in your current "devops workflow"? 4. What is your major "engine" for services? (I.e. python, react, pure nodejs, .net etc) 5. Would you agree to be quoted on that in our marketing strategy? If so i will reach out in private (please dont leave your contact info out in the open...) Thanks!
  8. Greetings, I have been struggling with a weird issue for a while now and decided to try here... My issue is as follows: sometimes (completely random, no common trigger found so far) the master volume of my pc will randomly change eighter up or down, sometimes by 4 percent, sometimes by 30, and it is bugging me so much I can bearly work, yet alone game... My suspicion is that one of the programs on my pc is doing this for some unknown reason, and I suspect it is eighter: Corsair ICUE 4.29.203 Razer Synapse 3.7.1015.100615 Logitech G Hub 2022.10.326382 Bitdefender 26.0.28.94 ASUS Armoury Crate 5.3.4.0 The reason this is my main suspicion is that even before moving to Windows 11, I observed this issue, but not as frequent. The problem is I can not verify this, as the behavior is so random that sometimes it happens every 2 minutes or so (no regular intervals or something like that) and sometimes it can be days without this happening at all. Did any of you encounter this weird hunted behavior? if so, please let me know how to fix this. My Setup: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X MB: Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero bios version 4201 GPU: Gigabyte 3080 Ti VISION OC 12G Keyboard: Razer Huntsman Elite Mouse: Logitech G502 Lightspeed with Logitech PowerPlay Headphones: Corsair Virtuoso RGB (All Drivers are the latest drivers, no new Windows Updates).
  9. its actually kinda slugging behind, i mostly game and can feel that my cpu has aged...
  10. are you sure? i herd they announced it will take up to six months about 3 weeks ago...
  11. thanks!!!!! i actually hit the submit ctrl + enter key by accident but im happy to see that you have wishes and dreams! those are impotent to keep, especially in times like this
  12. hey all! This Friday is my birthday and i have decided to spoil myself with a cpu upgrade (have been waiting on it for at least 4 months...) so, my current rig is as followed: intel core i5-7600k - oc to 5.0ghz msi gtx 1080ti armour oc 16gb 2666 dual channel (two 8 gig sticks) msi z270 krait gaming corsair h110i cooler corsair rm750i psu alianware aw3418dw running 3440X1440 120hz so, i am planning on upgrading my cpu and motherboard, along with my memory... i have two main options: 1. ryzen 7 3900xt with x570 motherboard - probably the Asus ROG CROSSHAIR VIII HERO AM4 2. intel i9 10900k with Asus ROG STRIX Z490-A GAMING LGA1200 for ram i am planning on getting Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 2x16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 any thoughts or recommendations for which one to go with? or should i wait the up to six months until zen3 goes out... thanks
  13. update: wierdly enough, once i set the secondary router to work in bridge mode, the speed is perfect, but there is no actual internet cause its bridged and different subnet, so i am probably gonna be changing to use the secondary router as a switch, thanks anyways
  14. just tried disabling the dhcp, no difference... ps, the routers are both from dlink
  15. tnx for the quick reply. i dont think they support lacp or any link aggregation, and i need all the ports... i will try to disable dhcp on the secondary router but i would love to hear how it is affecting my network... they can be the same network, but i preffer not to because i want the servers and the pcs seperated
  16. hey, so I`m going to lay down my problem first, and at the end i will attach a shitty sketch i made in packettracer online, along with versions of everything so, my home network setup is built like so: i have 100 megabit/s internet link from my isp (which is actually really sweet, it is almost perfectly balanced) that goes directly to the wan port of my dlink dir-825acg1 router who also functions as wifi hotspot and switch. my personal pc is plugged to one of the lan ports of the dir-825acg1 (from now on i will call it main router...) to a different lan port i plugged my secondary router, an old dvg-5008sg (it is aimed to be voip router but i only use the network ports) to that router i plugged my server, who is running esxi and on it ubuntu vm with docker container of plex along with lancache. to my issue: everything plugged to the main router has 1gb lan connection, and 100mb wan connection, everything plugged to my secondary router has 1gb lan connection, and 40mb wan connection, and that includes my pc, so my lancache is actually more of a bottle neck then an advantage atm... i triple checked my config, including switching from auto negotiation and forcing it to be 1gb and even 100 mb, nothing lets me break the 40mb cap, i even tried changing the cables with no luck. so, to sum up, as far as i can tell, the link between the routers is somehow limited to 40mb/s, which as a system administrator strikes me as odd, as i have never encountered that network speed as a "step" in the speed scale... if anyone have a solution / idea i would love to have some help! thanks. specs: my pc running windows 10 with 1gb intel nic my esxi running esxi 6.5 with 1gb nic used for all networks, running currently single ubuntu 20.04 vm with vmxnet3 nic. all ports are set for auto negotiation, where all relevent ports are reporting 1gb connection. as far as i can tell, there is no packet loss. iperf3 reports 40mb/s, even to a raspbarry pi 3 over ethernet. there is static route set on both routers to communicate with eachother, so none of them has to leave "my house" most of the devices are connected to my main router as it is also the hotspot, yet all my "servers" are connected to the secondary router. main router firmware 1.0.2 secondary router firmware 1.02.38.96 subnet mask on both lans is 24 main router default is 10.0.0.1 secondary router default is 10.10.0.1 wan port on secondary router ip address is 10.0.0.254
  17. well, you know, I would have to check with them, if they can run only on real operating systems...
  18. As far as I am aware, since ubuntu 16 (not including 16), to install ubuntu you have to have a network connection, even in an isolated network, you have to have a "link"... So i would first made sure of that, also, from what it seems, two thing pop to my mind: 1. There is still an os or at least remaining of it on the drive, and ubuntu cant manage to purge it so it can not install new firmware... so iIwould format the drive with a live usb even, then go on and install. 2. The iso you got is curropted, recreate it and try again. hope I could help
  19. So, the background of it is really long, but basically due to wide system corruption on my local plex vm, I had to migrate it to a new server, and decided that this time i will use deluge as my torrent client, and not utorrent... mind you that the system corruption has been going for about two to three months now, since a power outage, and i did anything in my ability to try and rescue the server itself for the last 3 months, so i did not really used utorrent... So, the way it was set up on my old server, and is still set up now is that I have plex running on my ubuntu server (moved to container of ubuntu this time, but still...), with utorrent (now deluge) client running as well, with pia socks5 proxy set up, for... security reasons... Anyways, I just finished migrating all the data and setting up the plex server, and wanted to test the new client, went to set it up and try a test download to make sure its all working and playing well with eachother, but the torrent wont run, it recognize the files, and just wont run! After debugging and googling for a while I decided to contact pia to see if they have a solution for running vpn on headless ubuntu server, after the 'agent' told me there is a problem with the socks5 proxy for about a month and a week now, and this was her reply!!!!!!! "Actual operating system"?!?!?!?! Please tell me I'm not just geeking out here and being insulted in behalf of linux.. Thanks, Sagi, advanced system administrator of not actual operating systems...
  20. Cool, and i dont seem to have 4 pin on my psu, do i need a spacific cable or something? Thanks!
  21. By the way mate, I am just making sure that not only that the psu wattage rating is good for my desired setup, but that the cable is sufficiant, cause i saw that there is an additional 4(or 6 im not sure) pin connector on the mobo
  22. Like, i knoenyou are right, and the FOMO is eating my out, but at the same time i really wamt to upgrade my pc while i can enjoy it, and the waiting is killing me.. But i will probably wait a month or so to see if anything new comes by
  23. I would say up to 900 usd give or take, of course lower is better, and i am highly restricted by the local retailer here, so whatever price you see online, round it up and add about 50$ to it, thata my local price.
