    Wow, that is an amazing build to say I'm jealous would be an understatement. I hope to have a build even half that scale one day.
     
    I loved the 900D for scale makes it look tiny compared to that monster you built.

    To say that im impressed is an understatement, passive cooling via the chassis like that is a great design.

    Yes! that empty acrylic will be for 2 ssd's and the rest of the space is for watercooling amoung other things.
    By the way the total cost of the build, everything included ( even the monitor) is currently 297€. it's more that what i was expecting to spend but i found a good deal on the monitor (131€).

    Temps wise my 7700k @ 4.8 wiith boost enabled going up to 5.2 tops out at 80c with idle temps as low as 30c, I do have a noctua d15 though and 7 case fans moving a lot of air through the case.
     
    On the ryzen note, you get good gaming performance and great multithreaded performance. Weigh it up against the games you play.

    woww i see what you mean, im watching a video where the 1700 is outperforming the 1800x with air cooling because the tdp is so much lower so it doesnt hit thermal throttling when the 1800x or 1700x does. I think the 1700 might actually be the play, im gonna do a bit more reasearch but its looking better and better the longer I look into it.
