  1. Wow, that is an amazing build to say I'm jealous would be an understatement. I hope to have a build even half that scale one day. I loved the 900D for scale makes it look tiny compared to that monster you built.
  2. Looks good, the only thing I would do personally is route the PCI-E power over the top of the gpu and hide those loose connectors. Otherwise looking crisp, you've got yourself a good build there. Edit: Hide that cable near the top fan as well
  3. Cool, thanks for the responses @RKRiley & @Lurick
  4. are there any suitable adapters that could be used to run the additional 4-pin?
  5. This has probably been asked numerous times before but do you need to connect up both the 8pin and 4pin cpu power on a board like this? https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/bvdxFT/asus-rog-crosshair-vii-hero-wi-fi-atx-am4-motherboard-crosshair-vii-hero-wi-fi I've got an RM650X that only has the 8pin Cheers.
  6. I'm guessing I would see similar performance changes if I jumped to X299 (7820X) as threadripper?
  7. Before I start this isn't an upgrade because I need to, I've got about £800 to spend and I was looking at what I could improve on my build before finances become tied up elsewhere so I can get the most life out of it as possible. My current build: Ryzen 7 1800X @ 3.8 (I've not been able to push it any further it just locks up no matter what I do) Noctua NH-D15 Asus GTX 1070 Strix Corsair RM650X Modular MSI X370 PRO Carbon Fractal Design Meshify C 32GB Corsair LPX 3200 DDR4 Samsung Evo 250GB x2 Corsair Force 3 240GB Samsung 960 Pro 500GB M.2 The only things I don't want to avoid changing are; storage/case/cooler. I primarily use it for gaming and VM's for testing.
  8. Oooo so many boxes, got to love new parts days
  9. To say that im impressed is an understatement, passive cooling via the chassis like that is a great design. Looks perfect in your setup as well.
  10. Yeah that's the one I'm going for, thanks for all your help guys.
  11. The dimensions of the case aren't exactly the issue but more so the H440's restricted airflow with only side vents which in the enclosed space restricts air more than normal
  12. I'm liking the Define C and the Meshify C. I'd never seen the RL06 before
  13. Ok so I'm looking for a replacement to my NZXT H440, I've had to move my tower into a under desk cupboard (open front and back) but it is only 4 inch wider than the case. So I'm looking for something wide enough for my DH15 (with dual fans) with better air flow with a clean look. I don't have any HDD only 3 SSD and my gpu is a 1070 strix. I'm in the UK as well. Thanks in advance.
  14. Looks great, I'd love to swap to an Evolv shift if there were decent x370/b350 itx boards
  15. I look forward to seeing how you get on with this.
