  1. I stumbled upon an app called dreamlab that does folding like folding at home for your phone. It only runs when your charging. If anyone thinks this is helpful could anyone help get it to the attention of one of the LTT guys. I'm not even after any credit. This is the website https://www.vodafone.co.uk/mobile/dreamlab
  2. Hi. I was in touch with Disney support a few days ago to see why 4K content isn't working on Disney+. I am using an xbox one x connected to a non HDR 4K tv. Netflix and Prime both display 4K no problem. So why is it they tell me it's because my TV isn't supported, I wouldn't have thought that mattered as the xbox would be doing the rendering of the content. I mean if 4K isn't available in the UK because there will be a surge of people because it's only just launched or because of covid19 I get that. But why not just say that. Anyway the question is am I right to assume that I was just fobbed off and should it make a difference since my tv isn't the one connecting to the service. Thank you
  3. Nah that didn't work either, thank you anyway. I'm just going to do a clean install
  4. I use hdmi, I tried spdif too and had the same problem
  5. Unfortunately neither of these options worked. Thank you anyway Its unlikely I'm using silver light as I haven't installed it (manually at least) this installation. I'll check for processing effects. But wouldn't that affect the whole system rather than just the browser.

  7. Desktop windows 10 Wired R1600 with 16gb 3000 ram Nvidia gtx1060
  8. As the title states my browsers audio drops out of sync. The timing of it is random. Things I have tried to resolve it already include Disabling hardware acceleration Updating nivida drivers Updating browser Unistallig java Trying different resolutions. Clearing C: space The problem is limited to browsers (tested on Firefox and Edge) vlc works fine as does now tv (they use a proprietary player). The only fix I have found is pausing and unpausing the video and that's only temporary, the problem comes back after a short while. Thank you
  9. Hey, what's the difference between a 1060 mini and full size cards because the mini is a fair bit cheaper. Is proformance affected. And I'm guessing I won't be able to overclock?
  10. There's 2 1060 6gb one gigabyte the other msi for around 220 on amazon.. That's about the best I've found atm
  11. Ahh crap should have specified I'm in the UK that's a good price too..
  12. I would but I'm wanting a card that will last a fair amount of time, and one that hasn't had the shit kicked out of it by mining. Unless keeping the card at 100% sustained isn't a problem?
  13. Will any of the 10series gpu be discounted come Friday mainly the 1060 6gb as that's all that fits my budget now.
  14. it would solely be for a media playback pc, maybe the kids homework
  15. As title asks, is this good enough for a media pc? It's going to be running Ubuntu. 4k is preferred but 1080 is a must https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/rMgQD2
