which we don't... because the difference is that small between a level like 30%, 50% and 80%

heck, some run them even above 100%
except they can be worse... an example that comes to mind is if the undervoltage protection doesn't kick in, you have a single rail and full (120-140% of advertised wattage) through one rail, burning the cables.

why not just buy a quality psu with a quality fan and use the money you saved for something else that actually makes sense?

japanese caps have been a myth that have been debunked years ago, there are good taiwanese and chinese caps too

ehm... what? bitfenix just use manifacturer designs, the formula gold is a cwt GPS, the whisper a GPU, i don't see why he would be favouring bitfenix that hard

psus aren't just caps in a box...

ehm... what? i mean... seasonic is overhyped sometimes, but it's not like it's a bad psu, just louder

no... it's a CWT design, which aren't exactly newbies... a custom GPU to be exact

yeah... these days they actually are, you don't want something like haswell or kepler on it...

actually... that one has the OCP problems, just not the ripple problems from upping the opp

not really something i'd run in 2019...

and still use that design to this day... but it isn't the absolute top anymore, flextronics made something better with the axi for example

you probably have no idea how much more a delta costs to manifacture...

remember pc power and cooling? that's what i mean, it says nothing

a wall of text really wasn't needed for this... if you want people to give solid, valid info, you just link to them, like this one made by Aris

#1) Welcome to the LTT forums.

#2) You don't need that much wattage. There is literally no point or benefit. The system you listed won't pull more than about 500w max (and that's being a bit generous), even with overclocking and all the other components you mentioned. 650w is what I would recommend. I would go with either the Seasonic Prime Ultra 650 or  BeQuiet Dark Power Pro 11 650w.

Welcome to the brand new PSU Tier List! Worked on, by @Stefan Payne, @LukeSavenije, and myself. This is a complete overhaul.

We'd recommend that if you have a gaming system, to not have a unit below Tier B.

All information below is opinion based on fact. Units may be bumped down due to the following: missing protections, group regulation, bad electrical performance and catching fire.
List is subject to change at any time, due to change in sources available.
Single rail units exceeding 650W will not be placed above Tier A.
Sleeve bearing fans will not be placed above Tier B. Group regulated units will not be placed above Tier C.

and honestly not as good as a prime, even if that one won't go any higher because of the single rail

maybe your card can only do 802.11n on 2.4ghz
you could probably disable 2.4g in your  router  and then card should default to 5g

2.4g is slower but more "sturdy", goes better through walls, signal degrades slower over distance
5g is faster but more "sensitive"

No way. If that's the case Radeon Technologies Group (RTG) won't struggle against Nvidia with Vega and Navi at all.

The 5GHz band is faster but has a shorter range than the 2.4GHz. Depending on your device, it might be out of ideal range of the 5GHz band and defaulting to the 2.4GHz until you force it. What are you using to connect besides your computer?
