  1. An update to all 0 people who've replied so far, not seeing any thermal issues with the mobo, ran with a fan directly on the PC, no changes. Frame dips happening in most games, even Risk of Rain 2 where the GPU isn't even under 60% load. DDU didn't help either, issue happens with stock drivers as well as reinstalled latest drivers. Running GPU in different PCIe slot doesn't help, either. Not sure what to do at this point. Cookie goes to the first person to actually reply to this.
  2. Another bump since I've had zero replies so far. Performed a clean windows install from scratch, and the problem is still occurring. I can't find any indication of thermal throttling, although I've read that it's possible the Mobo is throttling, although I'm not sure how to check for this. I plan to run my PC with the case open and a fan pointed directly inside it when I next can. Any ideas?
  3. As a preface, I've attempted to reach out to multiple subs with slim to no feedback whatsoever over on Reddit. Games include Project Cars 2, Assetto Corsa/Comp, F1 2018, Dirt Rally. Game reinstalls do not help, this issue was occurring in F1 2018 on both the steam version, and the denuvo-removed cracked version. I cannot find anywhere online someone having the same issue as me. Here's a video of the problem happening: It will always happen like this, optimal performance at 200FPS+, and dip severely 3 times in a row lasting upwards of a second of complete game lockup each time. It varies after a system boot when this happens, could be immediately at the beginning of a race, or 15 minutes into it, but it always happens without fail. I've been having this issue in most if not all racing games for some time now, and after scouring internet forums for days, I still cannot determine what the issue is. Basically, regardless of what USB devices are plugged in, in most of my racing games, I will have microstutters that will drop frames. What's odd is, with only using a controller, it happens once (instead of 3 times in a row), but when using my G29 racing wheel, it will always happen 3 times in a row in short sequence, and then be fine until it happens again. GPU usage in Task Manager / MSI Afterburner will show usage drops every time this happens, but no spikes/dips on the CPU graph. It will return to being fine at 200+ FPS until the problem reoccurs. Made sure my Oculus sensors are not plugged in, Verified all drivers are up to date, on 1807, don't plan on updating to 1903 Running with a single monitor plugged in, after a fresh boot, as well as my 3 monitors. It happens in VR for these games, as well as on a single monitor. Verified power settings in both windows settings, and the Nvidia control panel. Reinstalled video drivers. Windows Defender is not running, and I have tried with Malwarebytes Premium disabled. Tried with Flux disabled. Verified my motherboard is on the latest BIOS update. Ran a handful of virus cleanup tools. Different Power outlet separate from the rest of my desk Running with all startup programs disabled Re-seated my GPU Ran with only my primary monitor plugged in, with racing wheel, and no controller/wireless adapter hooked up. Placed GPU in different PCIe Slot Re-seated RAM Re-seated all power cables for CPU, GPU, on both ends. Reinstalled all drivers for devices Any help would be appreciated, I'm at a loss as to what could be causing these drops. Here is a download for the MSI Afterburner report, note that I'm usually quitting out after the spikes occur when I was trying to change settings and whatnot. https://www.dropbox.com/s/q7h9qdnadyflmln/HardwareMonitoring.hml?dl=0 See below for my spec list.
