  1. Is there any PCI cards, (or alternative), that can take HDMI and USB peripherals cable from a Laptop? Then use the laptop within the Desktop within a window like its a VM, via HDMI and USB directly into the PC?
  2. Hi all got a i7-11700k CPU and MPG Z490 Gaming Edge WiFi motherboard. Whats the best GPU that's max effeciency (not bottlenecked) by what I have?
  3. Budget (including currency): Either £500 or £800 Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1440p gaming (only 60hz) - minecraft, fortnite (not oftern). Programmer and coder, so fast and efficient for every day Other details (I all ready have monitor, Alienware AW3418HW and has to be an ATX setup as already have a case) Currently using my dell inspiron 15 5667 (gaming) to power the monitor, but want a nice and quiet pc system. But best specs I can get for the money. Any setup suggestions for setups for both £500 or £750 budgets. Parts picker lists would be fantastic.
  4. It doesnt have the old motherboard, so whole new internals. I'm not fussed about the RGB of the case, but as I said earlier, I want to fill it with a new system. So any suggestions? I like the case and thats why I picked it
  5. Thanks, just that I wanted to have it quieter than the fans going on my laptop, which sure is loud. But "silent" or quiet isnt a requirement. Just a suitable level for the case. Would that motherboard need to be the orginal have read that a 3rd party one will do fine. I hear MSI X99A is suitable.
  6. Budget (including currency): Either £500 or £750 Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1440p gaming (only 60hz) - minecraft, fortnite (not oftern). Programmer and coder, so fast and efficient for every day. Other details (I all ready have monitor, Alienware AW3418HW and got myself a hold of the Alienware Area 51 R2 case, looking to fill it, with a decent system) Currently using my dell inspiron 15 5667 (gaming) to power the monitor, but want a nice and quiet pc system. P.S. Not sure about how easy compatability for RGB of case with motherboard, so any tips on this would help. Any setup suggestions for setups for both £500 or £750 budgets.
  7. Ok what alternative is there within budget with gaming not a requirement
  8. Hi all, What's the best laptop for under £350, for my 10 year old brother for Christmas? Thanks Tom
  9. Ok cool I’ll try swapping when my replacement gets delivered on Monday.
  10. I have a SanDisk X400 M.2 2280 256GB chip with windows 10 installed as was booting SSD, my laptop suffered a motherboard failure and will be returning the laptop. However I need to get the data/files on the SSD off and onto another laptop or HDD before I return the laptop. I’m interested in getting the files that would be on it as got a few bits of work on it. How would I go about doing that?
  11. Hi looking for a good gaming computer that will be best to use at Uni. I am doing Computer Science so will need to normal stuff on it (visualization) and enough battery life. Would like something with the price around £700. Any questions just ask.
  12. I'm looking for a decent mouse, currently, I have been having problems with my own with dropping out and not working if the battery isn't has moved out of place. I was looking at something cheap but a decent mouse that doesnt drop out and if possible a charging dock will be great. I might be able to stretch to £40 if needs be. Hopefully, you guys can help.
