  1. Hi, so I've got this 960 from my friend, and I'm trying to troubleshoot on what actually happens under this card. Symptoms: the whole system POSTs, but there's no signal from the chip like around 4/10 times. Note: It will work fine when you booted with it having the video signal, Tried updated and rolled back the BIOS with nvflash, didn't helped. Current BIOS on it: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/167112/msi-gtx960-2048-141224
  2. So, From my old thread that I have had issues with ASRock AB350m Pro4, I've decided to go with different brands instead. Plus, I'm locked to either ITX or Micro ATX since my case is Define Mini C. (Plus, I use another PCI-E slot for my capture card.) Which one do you guys recommend? I've not heard a bad review for both of them yet, and seems like ASUS' VRMs are better. (Last corner question since I need to get my rig up as soon as possible, as I'm using my weird ghetto laptop setup atm.) Parts I have now:
  3. Well it would be a good choice if my case isn't a Define Mini C, which is a microATX case, AFAIK there's only one mATX board that is an x370 chipset, and I don't really do any overclocks, I just want it to run stable as my Phenom rig does. So my best bet would be Gigabyte's AB350m-Gaming 3 and checking that the memory is fully listed and supported there. Anyway thanks for your replies and recommendations.
  4. I tried every combinations possible already, this troubleshooting steps are going for almost a week now.
  5. I think lets just cut the corners here, I'm going to request a full refund soon. Anyway, anyone got some mobo/memory recommendations?
  6. It wasn't listed as "compatible" on the ASRock website for this board but was listed as "compatible" on the AMD spreadsheet, so that could be the issue too, Ryzen is really picky about the memories lol.
  7. The irony is, I tried all of them already, Well If I have to re-choose, it probably will be G.Skill since I've heard that their compatibility with AM4 is really good. But anyway I think that my board is faulty too, tough luck /shrug.
  8. Why sell it when I can just get a full refund lol, Germany laws about these are pretty customer sided. I weighted that to the board side since 10 pass of memtest86+ says 0 error.
  9. Tried, makes the system shuts off and turns back on for like 6 rounds before it posts successfully. Well I tried, it doesn't seem to work at all.
  10. BIOS is at 4.30 already which is the latest one, I tried re-flashing it for multiple times but seems to have no luck at all.
  11. Well, First of all, I currently own a Ryzen 5 1600, and it was working fine for 3 days until i encounter a lot of weird issues (Random system locks up, 60% of the time won't post correctly) So, I'm currently looking for a new Motherboard and Ram kit, BTW I'm in Germany if you wish to do a PCPartPicker list. (My current pick would be Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3 / G Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB)
  12. So basically after a fine tune, I set everything to medium except viewing distance, at 900p, it's at 40~ fps all the time (60+ when in the house fpp.) So yeah I will stick to this config until I get a new CPU set. (Maybe Intel, maybe Ryzen, not so sure right now.)
  13. Yeah, at 720p, I don't see dips in the real play (the lobby, and on the plane was sure laggy, but after i reached the ground it stays around 40fps.)
  14. Kinda true, Well I will look into it, thanks for your opinions.
