  1. This might sound like a dumb question. But I cant find a clear answer. I ordered a aorus nvme gen4 1tb m.2 drive and I have a z390 aorus master rev.1 I think. Am I going to be able to reach full speeds on this or not? Thanks in advance.
  2. is it normal for it to work perfectly fine for over a week like that then all of a sudden just not be stable anymore?
  3. Hello again, Im here with another strange issue. my 9700k has been overclocked at 5ghz since i built this pc over a week ago. it would run prime95 with never reaching over 71c. Its never had crashing issues playing games or even running benchmarks. Today i was watching youtube and decided to open a tab up for facebook, well as soon as i opened up facebook my pc crashed hard and just completely locked up. now when i try to boot my pc i get a BSOD as soon as windows loads. The kicker is if i remove my overclock on my 9700k and put it on stock speeds (4.6ghz boost) windows starts and runs fine. any idea whats going on? I have a bad feeling its a vrm issues on my mobo : / pc specs CPU-9700K MOBO- ASUS STRIX Z390E RAM- 32GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO 3000MHZ GPU- MSI 2080 GAMING X TRIO PSU- EVGA SUPERNOVA 750 G2
  4. SOLVED: seems to be a driver issue with latest Nvidia drivers
  5. its installed using uefi and my windows is on 1809, i did use ddu tho and was able to install standard drivers but im still having the same issue...
  6. hello all, i just recently upgraded my build from 7700k and z270f strix mobo to a 9700k and z390e strix mobo so current specs are: CPU-9700k (using asus auto overclock to 5GHZ tested it to be stable so far temps under prime95 get to only about 68C max no crashes) MOBO- z390e strix GPU- msi 2080 x trio (not over clocked) RAM- 32gb corsair vengeance rgb pro 3000mhz SDD- 1 v300 1 860 evo PSU- evgea supernova g2 750w the issues im having with this system now is when i run timespy i get some weird artifacting that i have never seen before, usually its the snowy bits are random white triangle flashing and so on. But what seems to be happening now is i get black flashes on my screen like bars across my screen that are like 25% of the height of my monitor in just the video play back before the benchmark even starts. keep in mind this doesn't happen in uni engine heaven at all it runs buttery smooth. the other issue i have is when i go to download the drivers for my graphics card i can no longer use the standard 2080 drives like i did with my old mobo and cpu combo (z270f strix and 7700k) now when i have to install them they say incompatible with my windows version which is just a normal copy of windows 10 pro (activated). my pc now only accepts the DCH version of the 2080 drivers even geforce experience does not install the drivers for me, i have to do it myself, and then i haved to manually install nvidia control panel myself from the windows store now... dont understand why lol. So im under the impression this is a driver issue possibly? any input or help getting this straightened out would be greatly appreciated. PS: i wrote this in a rush sorry for bad punctuation.
